You coulda fone better than a jensen and a boss amplifier. And the "wood" looks like kitchen flooring. Not terrible if you just want a little bass but dang.

All the stuff I got was for mock up purposes. Already got a different sub and amp. Also changing the “wood” out too 🤣

I like how you’re thinking. Yeah other stuff might be needed to help the sub perform, but trial and error right? I thought about makin a wood floor to match the sub box myself. Good job👍

1st, this could have been acmplished easier and better looking with laminate flooring. 2nd, the sub should be in sealed box bc I bet that sounds so bad as it is

Sub with open space? No offense but I bet it sounds trash. It needs to be enclosed in an air tight box. Should have make a box in the center on the under side of plywood and placed it in the box instead of just leaving it like that.

all was made for a fast and cheap budget build but yes you are definitely correct about it needing to be enclosed. i just didn't do that for the purpose of it being a "budget job"

How does it sound? Curious because I'm working on something similar where I'm using the spare tire well as the back of the enclosure.

If that sub aint a open air sub its gonna sound like shit and the sub and amp brands aint that good..a for effort tho..cool you did it your self and learned..
