I've had these for four years now and still haven't installed them. I could never make sense of the directions, so i appreciate your video and your remark 40 minutes in saying to "ignore the instructions"

Can you tell me the width difference between these and the stock flares? Do they stick out farther than stock?

Sorry, I can't but they do stick out farther than stock. From what I understand, pretty much all aftermarket flares like this will be wider.

Do you know of any mud flaps that will work with Bushwacker pocket style fender flares on a 3'd gen Tacoma?

They don't have a name as far as I know. Just search for them on ebay to match a 2nd gen. Tacoma with a short bed and they'll come up. These are about the cheapest option out there. My point with this video was to show that no matter which ones you try for in this price range, these are what you are going to get.

Not the ones I got. Less than half of that. That's why I'm trying them out: to see how the cheap ones are. For $400 you can get the good ones.

@@David-qw2iv for 1st gen., I don't know. You'll have to look for that yourself. Since I have a 2nd gen., I'm just doing videos about that. For 3rd gen., I see more options out there, but I haven't looked for years earlier than mine.

@@David-qw2iv These won't work for a 1st gen. Tacoma. This kind is for 2005-2011.

I might agree. That's the point of this video: to help you decide. But the only way to get better ones for the short bed is to spend at least 2 to 3 times more!
