I've been in Italy for over 2 years now. Love it here. I'm glad to hear you are helping people clear those Italian real estate hurdles, lol. If I was a little younger, I'd be sitting in my villa in Tuscany watching the sun set. But, my home is calling back in the States. Enjoy your videos!

I am happy you are showing these homes in video as it’s a little different than photos. I’m surprised to see so many listings including furnishings. How difficult is it to get rid of things we wouldn’t want that stay with the house?

Not difficult just hire a crew and dump it. Maybe 500 euros to clear the home.

For the money, this is great value, I see that they have the heat?ac splits which run about €800-€1,000 each. There is also a serbatoio d'aqua which provides water when water pressure is low which happens. That is about €1,200 to put in. The house itself is very nicely done.

6:14 The website looks very different from its presentation in this video. Is it the same website? Are the properties listed today still available? It would be nice to see a walking tour of the surrounding neighborhood, including the downtown area, starting from the house door ending in the center of downtown. Is that a possibility? Is there a chance of being forced out by the government years after we move in? Do we own the land under the house, too?

Yes but it doesn't perform that well. It's a small town you might book a night here and there. These aren't for investors in my opinion. Perfect for a summer home. Artist retreat house, or retired living.

Karl we are thinking of heading to Italy April for 3mths to see if we want to move to Italy. We love the life style for 30 yrs now :) We were thinking of digital nomads (I am 66) but maybe at $30-40,000 Euros it might make sense to buy. I have 2 grown young men(1 a chef & the other a science teacher/gardner) and a grown grandson that I believe would love this way of life. La dulce vita. I am from Bklyn and now Tampa Bay so we have in common. I was looking at Grosetto for travel convenience Rome/Florence and also I cant take stifling heat after this summer. in Fl would Love to connect with you. Thank you so much.

Makes sense. Best wishes on your journey and I think it's best to settle in one of the less expensive towns but have access to trains and planes to delve into the nomad life when you feel inclined. A cheap house gives you the stability and low overhead for piece of mind while having a sense of home.

Where abouts in the North of Sicily was you thinking of? It's more expensive in certain areas you won't get anything for 5k more likely into the 100's. Mussomieli is up on the mountains and away from everything hence the price.

About 600 euros....not bad in my opinion. I have 2 homes there and when I got the first tax bill, I asked is this for the month, and they laughed at me.

Depends on this home not much maybe 4500 for an additional full bathroom and maybe 2000 for painting and misc updates. But this property is move in ready. I think it only needs paint and your decorations

That it is a quiet, friendly community where you feel that everyone is looking out for each other. Less than 1 hour from a beach 2 hours to an international Airport low costs of living. I think for someone looking for a change and simple life it's great

Family of five you're going to need to increase purchase price to atleast 35k. And yes you can work and live in a property at that price point. Regarding racism I did a video covering that topic I suggest you watch it

you should not buy Multiple homes for profit and given the environmental impact of foreign travel a global life style should be avoided where possible.AIRBNB is a blight in the UK and Europe forcing up houes prices and makng locals become priced out of the housing market.By all means settle abroad but stay there and become part of the community please.Essentially we dont want or need Carpet Baggers at all.

I’m just watching the video but be honest, is it really as racist as they say? Lord knows they see us black kings in a foreign places like even in Japan they call you “outside person” in Japanese. But that shit is beautiful. $5K-$30K? Yeah. I have to keep grinding. I’m 25. Building an automotive detail business, I want to become a full time day trade, get my PPL, buy a Bonanza , and then travel like you’ve been doing. $30K is actually possible. The Airbnb possibilities are pretty crazy too. If I have an A1 maid cleaning services, I’d really think about renting it out when I’m not there
