Most agents offer payment plans... In order to to buy from the wrong person of a fraudulent source, conduct a research on agencies with good reviews in Ghana or talk to friends and family who may have purchased a land recently! You can also check other KZfaqrs you trust, who might have bought and are currently building, ask them if their sales person and take it up from there. If you want to target the remote areas, then it's always advisable to get to the chiefs directly. I hope this helps!

@@MORDIN They are not in the system again. They are Pentecostal Estate developers. I bought a land which they advertised just like this ftom the and 5 years now Im still fighting it. One in Dawenya right opposite Central University and two in Afianya. The same sweet talks. So im talking ought of experience. A lot land litigation in those areas

@@themotivatortv i fully understand where you are coming from! It is true that land issues in Ghana is depressing and discouraging... But that said, i think we should share our experiences and also give tips on things they can do to avoid in awkward situations rather than the generalization of characters (real estate companies) coz there might be some good ones out there. It takes time but surely one will find them. I have a positive overview one real estate company (kas real estate).... I'm sorry about your experience. These days, it's always better to build immediately or start developing the land, coz failure to do so results in land resale, which then culminates into land disputes...!

@@MORDIN Yes, you're right that. Just a handful are genuine. Like you stated, KAS Estate is one of the few. I have bought 10 plots from them in Kasoa area and they seem to live by their words. But bro understand my point. Most of these so call Estate developers are reallly scammers. In fact, most. And I don't know if they conive with some of those working at the land registery to manipulate the system or so. You may go do land search, it seems to come out "clean" but later still issues pop up, thus after you have paid everything and want to develop it. This land litigation problem must stop. I'm in US now, there is no where i would buy a land and be forced to do something on it within just two years, unles actually it's a very prime area.

Very true,l bought a plot of land from one of those so called ligit estate agency, called supreme estate agent on aburi road,chase and chase and chase till today i got nothing and no money back yes becareful Watching from UK
