We have a local co-op that cleans our seed for 25 cents a bushel, your method seems to work fine. Canada is changing their wheat classifications next year so I am sure everybody will be looking for certified seed. We seeded 5 plots of the new classifications to see what works best for us. Andrew great idea using the fans to clean the chaff out of the wheat. love your ladder. thanks for a look into your Farming operation. when you fix the axle seal on the JD tractor try to make a video, I want to see what is involved with that.

Back when my dad farmed he would run oats through a fanning mill but it was a long slow process and then he would sell it to farmers to use as a cover crop. But you could never use what he had because it was such a small mill it would take a month to run that amount through it! Great idea what you're doing!

I use the same type fan for blowing chaff out of corn and soybeans works good, set it up on an old chicken crate us central NY guys think alike!

Love the ladder I did the same thing last fall and got harrased by my brother. I figured it was sitting there, so as i see it safety first. 😁 maybe I'm getting old or smarter.

Have you ever tried setting the bin fan up so it can blow more of the fm out have seen it done with soybeans so I'm not sure if it would work for wheat

I think it's called 'Winnowing'. My Grandfather used to get the female members of the family do it on a windy day, whilst the men worked the Thrashing machine.

I love all the equipment you have. Who has a man lift on the farm. Ever farmer that has bins has problems with slides in bottom of grain floor. Seems like manufacture would do better engineering. Sheet metal chezzy

I like how you show all the other things involved with your dairy operation, and not just, milk cows.....feed cows....repeat. It may be easier to just buy feed and sell milk, but man would that get boring. Keep up the great videos.

That's a lot of hulls becarful I lost a good friend on a bin about that size doing the same thing your doing

Get a red combine and set it properly you will not have that problem
