@@suspense_1 around the 2-minute mark, he just specifies that if he turn it on just by pressing the button that's one mode versus if you press the button while holding the r1 it turns on in Xbox mode. That info on two different profiles depending on how you turn on helped to know

@user-dq6pm6sg8z yes, it does work while charging. Only thing is that when you plug in the charger, it disconnects from the device, but you just have to re-connect it.

Long press the right button and then hold the power button at the same time to enter xbox mode... then go to Bluetooth and connect with x box controller mode

It's held up very well but since the type c cable is located at the bottom it blocks the charging port while playing

My big fear, is that once the battery's is dead, the controller will be useless. In your tests, could you tell if the triggers are analog? Like D8? I think that light probably meant it needed to be charged or something. If you ever try to buy one, cover it with tape or something because those three lights can't be turned off but the other keys back lights can be
