i installed a gyro with stock main board, gyro led is on thus it can detect neutral position, but servo no response at all ....no response even i turn the remote wheel and trim button .... any idea ?

Hi friend, for the expensive one, when you set the gyro On, does it change the turning radius? Or still the same like gyro Off ? Could you check the difference. I’m curious

Ya it could help. But reduce the gain otherwise it shakes too much and made it worst

How come you had an extra switch on your gyro? I plugged my G1 to gyro and back into servo but I’m only getting a blinking red light. It will not fully initialize. Do you know why?

@@ridiculousbass i pull my esc switch to the back just beside the gyro. maybe you plugged wrongly? check again. also when initialize do not move the car

EdwardRC Car oh okay I see. I’m still using 100% stock components. Will the G1 not work with stock d12? How long does initialization take? I hold the end button and I am able to turn my wheels to set end points but when I push the button to save, the gyro just blinks red for long time

I don't have one. U can give the internal gyro a try. And you can also hook up an external gyro

Love it! Now it proved my doubts in RWD drifting - brushless motor & good gyro make a lot of differences & less effort to drift! Been spending past few days going thru various channels on drifting, almost all of them stressing the importance of good gyro system.

you couldn't be more wrong. the guy in this video doesn't know how gyros work, I have the same gyro and it works insanely well, i also still have stock electronics and tape around the wheels, you really dont need to spend hundreds of dollars to drift

Does your g1 gyro sometime do recalibrate in the middle of the drift and the car is locked and can't be controlled? Or is just the gyro is deffect

Nothing to do about what scale. As long as you are using servo with pwm signal. The 3 wires

the difference is much less as you make it out to be, yes there is a difference but placement of the gyro is much more important, the reason you kept spinning out is because you probably didn't adjust the strength of the gyro. no hate though!

@@EdwardChew im not a pro either, and I have this exact same gyro. and it works very well for me. you definitely do not have it cranked up enough, I have to put actual effort in to spin out, even with full throttle
