Ferry Kyoto(フェリーきょうと | 페리 교토 | 渡輪京都) is Japan's overnight ferry ever built by Meimon Taiyo Ferry Inc (名門大洋フェリー | 메이몬 타이요 페리 | 名門大洋渡輪). that operate from Osaka Nanko Port to Shinmoji Port (大阪南港から新門司港). Today, I book the newly introduced shared room, called "Comfort" (カプセルホテルタイプの相部屋 コンフォート) from Osaka to Fukuoka (大阪から福岡).It's a 458Km (284.58 miles) trip that takes about 12 hours 30 minutes. The boarding season is in December. The concept of the ship was "The Atmosphere of Japan's Ancient Capitals(古都のたたずまい)" and the interior was designed with warm colors, with walls decorated with autumn leaves, creating a Japanese atmosphere. The Comfort room was higher than the cheapest room, "Tourist(ツーリスト)" so it was nice to be able to stand up on the bed and get changed. If I had to say one thing, it was that there wasn't enough lighting, so it was a bit dim because of the height. The buffet(ブッフェ バイキング) at the observation restaurant(展望レストラン) had a variety of Japanese and Western dishes, and it was very delicious! I ate too much this time, so make sure you save some room for dessert!! (lol)
