I think it is safe because it doesn't catch fire easily and don't decompose and bug free. Yes it is very soft but if it is celing you dont touch very often

Nice idea , but it won't last long, Alright everyone, here's how to do it properly, you should cover panels with wallpaper or Sun mica first and then install them, and instead of using thermocol on the walls screw aluminium or wood first and then place the thermocol panels on them

Very bad idea fans binding are prone to be on fire whenever there is high volatage or due ro excesive and in such scenarion whole thermacol will be on fire within seconds. Very hazardous.
