Since when is removing and replacing a heavy transmission a party. The tool worked.

Modify the tilt handle to accept a socket , so you can crank it under load.

I got the scissor stye from HF for $130 + tax. Got the job done, but the truth is, pulling an auto trans with the vehicle on jack stands is a miserable job.

Yes, for sure pulling a transmission without even a driveway is not fun :)

Perhaps they show the jack perpendicular to the vehicle is that they were intending that for a transverse mounted drivetrain 🤷♂️

That is a good thought.... I didn’t put much thought into that as I try to avoid pulling transverse transmissions.... more parts to pull on average and more of a pain.

Cut it square from the bottom and use a washer welded from bottom. I’m in the same ordeal.

That is a great idea, probably faster method than what we ended up doing.

These jack adapters are only good for small transmission in sedans like Civics, Corollas and Accords.
