I always appreciate your videos! I found you about three years ago, and I have sought out your videos to learn as much as I can. I enjoy the comparisons of various products on your channel. Thank you for offering to share your "home" area with us. I'm definitely a person who needs a visual to get where I'm going. You did a great job helping me to get where I'm going when I finally go.

Bob I just want to say thanks for all you do to support this life style , don't know where to begin, but since this is a video giving directions to the campsites in Ehrenberg I would like to say thanks for the the comprehensive and detail maps and instructions you give to some of your camping areas. I know the need not reveal all your camping locations for the sake of your own privacy. Having said that though I hope that in the future you can share more places that supports a good camping experience . These video are awesome. Thanks so much for your labor of love.

Hey Bob. I have not started the nomad life, but I live rent free and utility free at the place I work...with permission. So I understand the freedom and cost reduction. I am moving toward a van life, because it is so appealing. I just want to thank you for everything you do to help others start this life and successfully live it. I have followed you for some time and know you are essentially an introvert, but it is quite evident that you have a big heart for people. You are loved and appreciated. Thank you for caring and for loving people.

I just started watching your videos a few months ago. I love binge watching these older ones. So much information and insight. I fully understand why you would not be able to put one up like this today. Fame does indeed come with a downside. You'd be swamped with guests. But great info for 1st timers like myself. You've got an excellent library Bob.

@@davechristian7543 Bob may come across as an extrovert, but he's quite the opposite. Other than the formal gatherings like the RTR, he prefers to camp alone or in small groups in the tribe. A video like this would have fans swarming his camp to see him. (See 30:06, good example). He is generous and gives graciously of his time. But like many of us, he prefers to be alone.

Good stuff! Thanks Bob. I do have a question on parking near trees. Trees would suggest there is water available to the trees and water may be available due to flash floods in the area surrounding the trees. It would be great to watch a video concerning when it is OK to park near trees in the desert. Carolyn was talking about gullies with vegetation as being a no-no as they are probably flooded periodically. Maybe these trees with vans parked close by have deeper root systems.

This looks like a great place to spend the winter. The south west is one of the prettiest wilderness in the United States. I was in a similar landscape in Las Vegas and the mountains changed colour depending on the time of day. My only concern is the possibility of rattlesnakes. Do you need foot wear with high uppers for protection against snake bites? Probably wouldn’t be a bad idea! I hope that the guy who backed his rig into a bushy campsite under a tree hasn’t had any encounters with rattlesnakes. Snakes tend to hide out in bushy spots for protection. On that note I give all wildlife respect including snakes. Even the venomous ones as they are part of nature. In Ontario, Canada where I live we have the Massasauga Rattlesnake which is on the endangered species list. The snake can be found in the Georgian Bay; French River; and along the Lake Erie shoreline in Ontario.

Wonderfuel video, Bob. Never been there but your instructions are so clear, should be easy for anyone to follow. it's been my dream to do what ya'll do. However, I'm caregiver for a relative who has Alzheimers. So I enjoy traveling along with you & several others on their videos. Ckd my list of ones I'd subscribed to & can't imagine what possessed me to subscribe to some of them. had nothing to do with this way of life. So just unsubscri bed to many of them. Currently hunkered down for 2nd night in SD motel due to winter storm. Town just south of us got 18 inches of snow. Will be so glad to get home to IA tomorrow. Looking forward to next video. Bob, thx for vid. Just what I've been needing. Starting my fulltime vandwelling adventure in a 2002 E-150 conversion van that I'm converting for fulltime living. Have retired and looking forward to seeing our great country. Will be towing a 16 foot cargo trailer to haul my "toy", a supercharged 1976 Triumph TR8. Hope towing trailer won't be too burdensome as I'd hate to give up my sports car passion. Hi Bob! Love your videos and I'm sorry you had a rough time with the RTR, but not many people could bring such a group together and walk away without some kind of exhaustion. In describing the traffic circle in this video, from the direction you're showing, it might be more helpful to tell folks to make the" second right turn" to exit the roundabout. I'm surprised that some folks still don't quite know what to do at a traffic circle (not picking on anyone) and telling them to go left might lead to a little confusion. I'm sure most folks understand, but there's always someone that will panic when entering a traffic circle here in the US. Thanks for all you do. I was really hoping to make it to the RTR and watched daily for updates, but alas, I'm broke and still live in a sticks and bricks - and need a swift kick in the butt to get me moving.

Bob...here's a wonderful surprize for you. The last exit before the Arizona border is Riviera Dr. Its 3 miles to the end of that road and it used to be all dirt. The whole road is residential. At the end on the left is what looks like private road. Turn left there. Take it to the end. Its magic and no one knows its there. 29 miles of what they call slews that go off the Colorado river . Its beautiful and lush and green and the best fishing you've ever seen if you like that sort of thing. Find someone with a little motorboat and launch there, Be very careful to know where you are though. I've gotten lost in there many times. As you motor through, you'll see little mini beaches where you can picnic ect. Its amazing. Message me if you find it. Have fun. Brenda

Hi there Bob Wells - wow so many videos to watch! It gets a bit confusing - I've been on the road for a while but just found your channel a couple months ago but boy I sure wish I'd found you before I started off. I learned a lot on my own - had to of course. But it's all good. I don't have solar - I use my generator and it powers everything - A/C, M/W everything. Are you still going to Enrenberg in winter?

If you like mexican restaurants, there are a lot of them in Blythe. I am from San Diego and love that there's a Del Taco there, as well.

You didn't notice but the blue truck that blocked your view of the interstate is the company I work for. we go through there all the time. I hope to buy an rv and only drive 6 months out of the year.
