I watched this video a few months back. I liked what I seen and the price was very agreeable with me. So I bought one. Came back to say I LOVE it. It is a great piece of equipment and has taken our film work to another level. There are quite a few settings and functions so watch a few "how to" videos before you just throw it on the gimbal. Great investment and great quality. Thanks so much for introducing me to this. Also want to add, for those debating this purchase, I am using a Canon 7d mark ii with a 50mm or 18-55mm. Still having a little trouble balancing with a 24-105mm (a little heavier) but give me time. These things are a learning process. lol. But it works well with a pretty heavy camera.

A tip for everyone using gimbals for the first time - take your time and balance the camera on gimbal really precisely. It's the key to getting smooth footage and not overheating the motors. I see that in this video the camera was not balanced correctly. You know it's balanced when you can put the camera in any position and it will stay there.

your audio levels are very very very inconsistent, please try to mix it better in future videos, volume is on max when i'm listening to you, and then there's some sound fx that comes on for 2 seconds and is 3 times as loud, or a video clip that is also much louder than your voice, makes it very hard to follow. I own an xg7 the film camera he used to demonstrate, and it's relatively light compared to a minolta xd11 or a pentax asahi

That minolta takes some pretty nice footage! But im wondering how it would look color graded?

how's the battery life on this? Do you have any pro's and con's now that you may be able to list bit more?

Sounds like there is a controller inside from basecamelectronics. you could hook up to a pc and use their GUI to change parameters and tweak PIDS and stuff

You have stabilization on in your camera settings? Should turn that off so applying lens distortion doesnt do wonky things with the footage and ruin and dense point clouds or motion track solves

For the price I’d wait and spend a bit more. Idk if its how you're walking or what, but it doesn't seem very smooth compared to slightly higher priced dslr gimbals.

Get video but one suggestion dude maybe a boom mic for better audio it kinda takes you out of how good and informative the video is at parts.
