Hey, it looks better than most Employee Dining Rooms. So for people who do not have that option, this is a great deal and the food is much healthier than eating fast for the same price. Great review.

Definitely nostalgic, my parents used to have a Chinese buffet during the 90s and this pretty much reminds me of those times growing up inside the restaurant.

I agree, and with a selection like that, you can hone in on what you like.. If I was to just go there to eat normally, I would stay with just a few of the staples I like. The beef and broccoli, their salt and pepper chicken, fried rice and lo mein, (2-3 plates) some of their more basic sushi offerings and after soup and jello, there is no way 8.99 can be beaten!

Thank you for this review! You are the Everyman, not the fake high rolling buffet reviewers, taking the bus and finding a low cost buffet. And you are hilarious without even trying! “adequate amount of seating” (no one in sight) “love the lo mein and jello” - until you tasted it. 2nd try - lo mein was OK since it was hot, not a high bar to achieve, haha. “Hot & sour soup, don’t know why it’s orange” “Fried stuff” You tell it like it is, the truth! (It’s a winner as long as you don’t get sick afterwards)

Thanks for watching and for the kind words. I am just a regular guy! The jello was pretty good, and the soup that was strangely orange was the egg drop soup, its usually yellow! Being a medic, my documentation is very "as things are" and that kinda makes it way into my youtube videos. I didnt get sick after this buffet but I also havent been sick for any reason ever since I have corrected my vitamin D deficiency.

Can't believe there is an even cheaper buffet! With these prices I won't be expecting anything to wow me as long as it tastes fine and warm. If really in a tight budget this is good once in a while.

Hey, $8.99 is good. I pay almost $11.00 for a couple of tacos and a burrito at Taco Bell in Boston. I'd take that buffet any day.

I couldn't believe what i just click in to you're VLOG. This buffet prices is what i remember 24 years ago in Las Vegas where i got married with my hubby. Again the price b4 at the buffet at Luxor was 22 dollars each per head that time .. And this HOTEL Flamingo which we also visit b4 is really i just can't believe the price is still the same as it is . .. amazing .

If you're ever in the Laughlin Nevada area, try the Hibachi Buffet in Bullhead City. It only a couple of miles from the Laughlin strip and the food is very good and it's only about $11 or $12 bucks. They have a really good selection of Sushi and a Mongolian barbecue as well.

This reminds me of a buffet I would hit on my lunch breaks. Cheap, a few items that were quite good. Many things didn't look appetizing so I passed on them, I got variety, I could serve myself, and always left full. I got a quick, sit down meal for a couple of dollars more than fast food.

At less than $10 it's as cheap if not cheaper than a lot of fast food, which in many cases is not all that fast! Plus, at the buffet, it's all you can eat, go there hungry and fill up!

It is a common thing to do to reduce the amount of food at the end of meal periods, I got there like around 2PM ish and lunch was to an end, not alotta customers left.. smarter buffets would even reduce the pan size at this time to better present the food... and the food there wasnt bad... cant complain for that price! which last I heard went up a dollar

To answer your recent question, Policies are well laid out, a creator can read what it says and determine what works and what wont, although it does get very complicated, it is nothing to be afraid of.

well, all buffets must be considered in the context of price paid. and I am always on alert for my health when it comes to food, Notice I eat and I taste the food, if it was bad I would have a chance to spit it out and rinse my mouth out.

Thank you for the review. I'm going to Las Vegas in April and one of my primary goals is to eat Asian food, which I can't get where I live. This looks like a typical steam table Asian buffet and considering how little food I can actually eat, the price is right for me. I will not eat the jello, tho. I have so little room in my old lady stomach that I can't waste the space on jello when there's rice noodles to be had.

me again.. im so glad to see you peel the shrimp. so many people i see in person and on youtube, eat that shell. why? its like eating plastic, lol. also, a couple minutes back you hear a man telling someone that you are most likely taping a video for youtube. funny what i hear or notice on these reviews. again, i truly enjoy your videos, you are just so kind and just a true gentleman. you take your time and chew your food, where others woof it down as fast as they can, yet, try to give their opinion of the food. lol

LOL!! I subscribed because you got on the bus. When I go to Vegas I just use public transportation. I go to Vegas 4 times a year just to eat, so I'm all over the area. I'm over 65 so $2.50 all day, that includes the deuce. If you're under, $5. Still a good deal.

@@dannythemedic Thinking about moving to Vegas just for the food. The eating scene here in the San Francisco bay area is way, way, way overrated. However, we probably have some of the best patisseries in the country. Have you been to rolling smoke for their beef rib? Actually, I really liked their bean side better than the rib, lol.

OH it was necessity because it was my left hand not holding the camera. if I grabbed the handle, the door edge would hit my wrist or I wouldn't have been table to pull the door far enough to get in...

Before covid, many casino buffets (off the strip) were around that price and that included drinks which are usually an extra charge at stand-alone buffets. Two-for-one coupons were common and slot club members often got discounts or even free buffets. I think they concluded that people will come and gamble anyway so they don't have to offer the bargain buffet.

Danny...excellent video, good, detailed commentary. I got a pretty good idea of the overall quality from the careful video shots and your comments while actually sampling the food. I would eat there in a heartbeat, maybe two or three times a week, until I had tried everything. Looking forward to your future work.

I would dare to try it with no problems, sure it is not a dinner date place or a place for celebrations, but a nice place for people that work long hours or maybe a divorced local that don't bother to mess around in the kitchen, just perfect :)

This place remind me of the first Chinese buffet in the 90's that open in NJ lunch was 4.99 dinner was 6.99. For 8.99 I will bite!

I eaten at the Kerrin buffet a few times mainly during the lunch rush and the dinner rush that's when the food is the freshest the baby leeks are yummy and the baked fish with ginger is really good however I notice in your video you were not offered and second round of whatever you were drinking in a timely fashion and almost every time I went there the same thing happen I had to ask for a refill on my drink it's something that I notice when I go to any resturant that has waiters but overall I enjoyed your thorough review thank you.

I have eaten at Kirin buffet many times over the years. The price went up to 10.99 but added egg foo yung which is ny favorite. As of 2024 its now a Buffet@Asia. Its a few dollars more but expanded their food selection. Still one of the best deals in Vegas

Circus Circus in Las Vegas used to have a free lunch buffet. As one would expect it wasn’t much. The locals and construction workers would try to eat there every day. It didn’t last long.

You're good! I know you're serious but you do make me chuckle, I think you would be great if you explored Las Vegas and place your adventures on KZfaq. I keep having to remind myself that it cost $9.74 including tax. Otherwise, I'd think that it's a poor buffet. So it's good on a value-for-money basis. For added value, eat so much that it's your only meal for the day.

Didn't look bad for the price, but I think the next time you go, you should go right at the opening. Seemed to be either food that had sat on the steam table for a while or empty trays of...whatever.

I used to live near there. I asked my roommate about the place since it always looked empty. She told me the tour buses would stop there late afternoon and fill the place up.

I see their food hasn't changed, but at least they finally remodeled the place from the rundown looking moldy smelling place it used to be. There used to be another Chinese buffet out there that was only $5.99 and it was outstanding and had a huge selection. Unfortunately it went out of business about 5 years ago.

If I make it to that buffet I'm going to concentrate on the beef and broccoli, the sushi and those boiled shrimp. In fact I think I'm going to eat more shrimp than anything else.

If they devein their shrimp I might try it. These budge buffets are notorious for serving rubbery shrimp and cheap imitation snow krab legs.

Less than $10 bucks for a buffet has gotta be a deal no matter what they serve you. These days, that won't even buy you a fast food meal.

at 4:40 that looks like it was/is tempora vegies. i see them at the better buffets, again, not at my local one, they are cheap here.

UPDATE: The $8.99 Price has gone up, and this is no longer the CHEAPEST BUFFET in VEGAS, I have found the NEW Cheapest Buffet in all of las vegas and the video will be published June 27th 2023. Title: "The CHEAPEST BUFFET in ALL of LAS VEGAS. The $9.30 AYCE Aramark Lunch!"
