While in TN, we were told that Rocky Top Mountain Coaster was the best around. We had to try it. This is our experience.

I'm glad I checked out this video before making a final decision about where to go for Alpine Coasters. This would drive me nuts to speed up and have to slow down multiple times before getting to the bottom. Once I'm moving, I don't want to stop!

Go at night, the lights, theming is fun even in the uphill parts.

It was hella fun, but it did feel like I was going to fly off the track when the lever was wide open for speed.

Rocky Top is the only one I love to ride! We love the night rides.

Thanks for keeping the economy of Sevier county moving! Befoe the attractions were built, things were pretty rough as in substance farming rough.

Ha! We did spend some money on the attractions while there. We'd like to go back, but focus more on hiking and nature next time. I can imagine how it was pre-Dollywood and other attractions.

Do the Rowdy Bear coaster in Gatlinburg at night. The whole track is lit up with Christmas lights

Yes rowdy bear isn’t good during day but at night it’s super fun! :)

It's definitely more spaced out with inclines and downward rails. It helps to space out the guests, unlike some other tracks that are all based on riding to the top and then hoping that people maintain the speed on the way down or else risk others smashing into them.

This is the best & longest mountain Coaster in TN.. and they Discontinued ride prices for family for being a Marine Corps Veteran.. awesome 👍

I rode the alpine coaster yesterday, it looks a little more intense than this one, what caught me off guard with the one in this video is how many times you had to stop. The Alpine one once it says push your handles forward you zoom till the end, it was a rush, I was laughing like a psycho the entire time

Yes! There is a lever on the side of the sled that you can push up or down for speed.

This particular track has technology so that people don't hit each other. That's why I preferred Rocky Top over many others.

Hi Kyle! Enjoying your Pigeon Forge videos! We did Goats on the Roof coaster last year, so will have to try Rocky Top next trip. Also, wondering if you could tell me what kind of video camera you use?

This one may be the worst one. Smoky Mountain Alpine and Goats on the Roof one are way better.

Too many lift hills. Once you get going, you have to slow down again. Not fond of that.

Good footage, nice scenery but it rides more of a log flume than a coaster. Way too many break points and lift hills

Goats on a roof and the Alpine mountain coaster are much better. This one stops you in all the wrong places..just when you start to have fun..you are stopped. Disappointed after riding this one.
