Meet Kei Kurono (Kazunari Ninomiya), a jaded slacker who stumbles upon a mysterious black sphere after a brutal subway accident. He awakens in a strange room with a group of strangers, all inexplicably brought together by fate (or maybe bad luck).
The Twist? A giant black ball named "Gantz" forces them to participate in a series of high-stakes, alien hunting missions. Equipped with futuristic weapons and body suits, they must fight for survival against monstrous creatures from another dimension. There's no escape from Gantz's grip, and the penalty for failure is death (again!).
