They have hard time banning rage hackers, imagine how hard it will be to ban the hiding ones.

The new "anticheat" is not actually a new anticheat, they fixed NoSpread a while ago and intentionally left a hole in the code as a bait and it worked, because 15 hours after the fix a cheat provider found a way to bypass the fix, and valve was actually monitoring that to give out the game bans a while later. And no, magic bullet didnt get fixed/detected. Talking about MagicBullet - the cheat moves the viewmodel under the map (dont ask me why this works lol), and on Ancient, the wall on T spawn is wallbangable from under the map, so thats why is this possible. A bug that is extremely easily fixable, but as we know Valve does not have any actual intention of battling cheaters, other than running 2-3 vac waves per year so people think that they are actually doing something..

Quick heads up for people that arent into technical stuff related to games: Neither magic bullet nor nospread should even be possible, as any normal game server would simply reject/alter the shots so neither of those cheats would even work in the first place

I love how Valve can’t detect the most obvious cheats. Speedhacks, fastshooting, magic bullets. But there’s still plenty of people protecting them mentioning banning in waves BS.

NO WAY I solo queued a random competitive match on dust 2 and had KERO and ARI on my team blatantly cheating. This is so weird to see it on my feed

magic bullet is by changing your viewangle it makes the game think the bullet is come from the ground, where you can try to noclip under the ground and you can shoot them easily as the game does not regconise the floor as a actual wall

The sad part is that the anti-cheat doesnt act immediately, 5 kills through atleast four or five walls with in a few seconds, direct ban maybe?!

Best anti-cheat was playing in LANs back in the day. Anyone ever caught cheating would get their ass beat, literally and hence nobody ever really dared to do it. I miss those days, the LANs.. not the beating people up part.

I've been qued against the same group of cheats 6 our of 15 games ive played the last 2 days and have deranked 2000 elo because of it. This is legit killing the game for any high elo players.

its insane that 2/3 of these blatent cheaters are still not banned

Just release a case and more skins and more graphic updates too to reduce my FPS more, I'm sure I'll just forget about the cheating. I'm sure I'll forget about the gameplay and just stay on the main menu spending money because that's what cs2 has become

How is it not an automatic ban when you kill a player literally 3 seconds into a round.

I can't see how going automatic with the awp doesn't get them banned instantly, firing faster than what the weapon is capable of, even including quick switching has to be the easiest thing to catch. The more stupid cheats I see, the more I think Valve doesn't want to ban them, they want to keep them as customers. And on maps like Ancient getting kills within 5 seconds just isn't possible.

For years I rarely ever had matches with full on blatant cheaters, but the past month I’ve been seeing full on rage mode cheats upwards of a third of my games. It’s gotten so out of control that I’m losing all the faith that Valve will find an effective solution to the epidemic. I’ve been optimistic about the game since release, but now I’m slowly becoming a CS2 doomer.

from what I understand magic bullet simulates putting your model under the map where you can shoot everything as theres no walls between you and the other person. So the game thinks you are under the map and shooting from there when actually you are just sitting in spawn for example.

Ive been noticing for the longest time that when my team is winning and I get 4+ killsand doing really well, suddenly the tables are turned and the other team just wipes us all out round after round till we lose and I end up getting really negative scores.

There are cheats out there that can never be detected with any anti-cheats. They mask themselves as windows components and some are run in virtual machines, undetectable.
