Cheating In A Go Kart Race With NITROUS

Today we put together our own version of a Sneaky peat Nos kit for the race at Cars and Cameras. We hide the nitrous in the seat along with a 12v Milwaukee battery. Using a welding gas solenoid, we can give ourselves a shot of N2O anytime during the race. We also change out the old tires with some new v treads. I am cars and cam, red beards garage, and ratherbwelding fan. All yall doing this to have a good time and race and good off, I been tryna do that in my neck the woods, but only problem is nobody around is in same shyt. Not sure it would be effective. You need big bottles for nitrous to be any sort of economically viable. An empty bottle of nitrous still has about half the volume in nitrous temaining

@@jamesmcclain3588 damn man thats gotta get expensive fast. That's why I've never run spray. Consumables just seem like money out the door, where I'd rather use the cash to pick up a junkyard turbo or supercharger and get the beans that way.

literally every motorsport that exists is basically a competition of "how good can you cheat" or if you want to be PC " how well can you read between the rules?"

I have been racing asphalt circle track since i was 8 started in a 4 cylinder muatang mini stock that would have a "power band" around 7800 rpms lol and one guy that i raced with i could not ever catch him at all to pass him and win he would pull me hard down straights. Well after about 6 races the tech guy tore his car down and found a giant nitrous system hidden in the car. He litterally used roll cage tubing and pressured a few pieces with n2o and had a completely hidden nitrous system. Just like pur cheater msd ignition boxes with the rev chips alpt of classes have a rev limit and the box is cheated up with a higher rpm chip inside and a flip of a hidden switch you can turn on the legal chip when he checks it in tech. Plus traction control devices and using those food serving cannksters that you light the gel in there coat inside air filter and kts good for a extra half a second during the 2 qualifying laps

With a large enough air filter you could hide the whole thin inside it. Come up with some sort of remote and it would be totally stealth. Could use a bike cable and a band to squeeze the trigger.

Back in the day when i was around kart racing i new a guy that hid that little nitrous bottle inside the crank case. I was young as f soo i dont remember how it was hooked up. I do remember a flywheel exploding.

use a gas cable and wrap it around that button in a loop somehow, maybe cut a small slit into it so the cable can ride in it and if you press the leaver is squees it down 😄

I honestly don’t think you put enough Teflon tape on the fitting. I think 12 more revolutions we be sufficient for adequate sealing properties.

4 drill bits you should check out Buzz bits they are the best drill bits I've ever owned a little pricey but well worth it I've had mine going on 7 years they still work like they're new

Those things have less than 1 cubic foot of NOS in them LOLOL. However that is like 28,000 CC's so it should make some power for about 260 - 500 revolutions of the engine or 3 - 6 seconds of NOS fury @ 5k rpm for a 212 cc engine. Finished that right when he said 8 seconds!

The cylinder cools with discharge. Ambient temp is not as big a deal. They cool so much that you can get bottle heaters for NoS canisters.

steven johann IRL nitrous bottle heaters are used to keep the bottle between 900-950 PSI. When the bottle is getting empty or its a cool night/day the PSI will drop and not provide the expected shot of nitrous. When nitrous is released by the solenoid the rapid expansion of N2O caused the lines to cool very quickly. Ambient temperature would really only effect a cold or low bottle. In this example I don’t see it affecting anything at all. The power gained if I had to guess will be minimal if its even noticeable.

Yep, look at the Astros they had a massive cheating scheme going on, didn’t get caught for a year or more went all the way and won the World Series and basically all they got was a hand slap. No change im the record books, get to keep the trophy, everyone gets to keep their rings, etc. There should of been a televised event where MLB officals went to the Astros Stadium; taken back the trophy and stripped them of the title of 2017 World Series Champions. They should also change the record book to say something like no Champion due to cheating by the Astros Organization.
