LMAO the random posing throughout the video made it better. Yes Kate's house is lovely, I'd like to understand the layout better though. Maybe wider shots if possible. Furniture placement is where I struggle the most with, so it'd be good to see how it all comes together.

This is So. Much. F***ing. Fun. Fantastic series idea. As with your apartment tour, editing is chef's kiss. No one else (at least, not that I've seen) is doing these ambient vignettes just showing how you live in the space. And hosting style is really fun. The "good cups" reminded me of "good soup" lol

I LOVE the concept behind this series! So many home decor/interior design channels feature homes and/or images that are just beyond the reach of a normal person and sometimes aren't even functional for real life because they were decorated for a photoshoot or it's someone's like 5th home that they spend like two weeks in during the summer. Your friend's home looks amazing, but it's in a realistic and relatable setting, made amazing by care and attention picking out items and not because of wall-to-ceiling windows with beautiful expanses outside and huge ass rooms that normal people just can't afford. It's really encouraging to see a house and think - I can actually do that! Because you realize that waiting and saving for the right piece can achieve a really good look and you don't need a million dollar home that does half the work for you.

I am moving to Chicago and have been obsessively looking at apartments (moving from Manhattan - so def want to level up my housing!). This episide made me think it would be super cool if you had an episode where you look at reasonably priced apartment listings and evaluated the style of the home and how much potential it has for cute interior design. I've been looking for something unique but that makes me feel like a true adult.

Paige, you don’t know how happy it makes me that your videos have no background music. I don’t know if it’s intentional but your videos are such an easy and calming watch. I tend to mute a lot of videos because there’s too much sound going on and it gets overstimulating and distracting. If you are ever thinking of adding music…. Please reconsider 🫣

I love the idea of a home tour by a friend without the home owner present. Brilliant concept.

Oh my gosh, I’m a total Elmore Leonard fan, Paige. One of my favorite videos is of Elmore chiding his son, I guess Kate’s father, for being a lazy writer. You and Kate should do a review of the sets of “Get Shorty,” which is totally the ultimate Elmore Leonard-in-LA movie. It’s got some great moments and LA looks and scenery.

The “pea green” bedroom paint color is reading very tan on camera, at least on my TV. I’ll have to use my imagination. 🤔😁 Looking forward to more like content. 🥰

I like this format! It kind of makes me feel like I'm snooping but in a nice, complimentary way. Also, I hugely appreciate the editing pain in the ash it was to add all the little red labels to everything. It was cool to know where they came from in such an offhand, quiet way. Tell Kate to try just recovering the cushion on that chair, maybe in the rust color of the stripe! It'll tone down the overall orange and match it up with the pillow and the couch a little more. KATE'S GRANDPA IS ELMORE LEONARD???? Omg.

I really like your style! you should make a video on how to decorate a suburban house so that it doesn't look like as a basic suburban house, I think many people have houses like this and sometimes you don't know what to do to make them to look good considering the open spaces and the typical structure that those always have.
