I have a similar one for my iPad mini and it is really nice for me to have with emails and notes that I don't want to use the pencil for. It is also a nice stand for watching KZfaq lol

I have a nice keyboard case for my Mini 5 which doesn't have the track pad. This allows for a larger keyboard and easier typing. I use a stylus for moving things around. Is ideal? No. The keyboard is still crowded, and I miss the trackpad. But it IS usable. I often get around on a motorcycle, where space is at a premuim. I use the Mini connected to my iPhone to do my video and text editing, and I use the keyboard case to hold the iPad in the proper position so that I can use the cameras. An imperfect solution, but when on the road everything is a compromise.

You can have a separate bluetooth keyboard. You may be able to get a case that is larger to fit the keyboard, but unlkely.

Thanks for your initial impression. Looks cheap and bulky. It clashes with the brilliant aesthetic of the iPad mini.

I enjoy very last dollar's videos because he actually dives into those off the wall ipad mini 6 doodads😅! But I can see where you're coming from. He comes off as sort of monotone at times, but he's a super kind gentleman, and that happens to be a pretty cool nerd!! 💯💪🤓 I hope to see many niche products from this gentleman's channel as well. Does the backlit keyboard have a lock to keep the light on like Apple products or does it time out like Windows products? Does the bluetooth timeout ? Goes to sleep if not continuously used. Missing keystrokes. Or like Apple bluetooth products responds to keystrokes without missing a key even after a long duration of being left idle?
