I know! Why is it even on there? It's a FACT question where there is only a right answer and wrong answer. And every person who was raised in the USA should KNOW that it's 4. Like if you're so proud to live and grow up in the USA, you should know the names of the 50 stats. If you can remember the titles of 50 movies, then SURELY you can remember 50 states. And a great way is a song that I learned in 2nd grade in music class. Which is basically the states in alphabetical order.

knowing state names doesnt have anything to do with being smart. Smart is being able to calculate a satellite s position given its velocity and apogee. Knowing state names is just recalling trivial information.

tim turner, a satellite doesn't have an apogee. Apogee is a point in its orbit, not an attribute of the satellite.

Dennis Kovacich thats technically correct. (the best kind of correct). but generally speaking, an orbit is the defining attribute of a "satellite". and id put forth the argument that its semantically the same as asking for a car's color. a car doesnt have a color but the bits that define the car do. and so when we ask what is the colour of the car, what we really mean is "what is the color of the paint on the panels that comprise the majority of the exterior of the car's body?" That is a mouth full and so in english we allow ourselves some semantic laziness which while perhaps imprecise, still conveys the idea clearly enough.
