There’s a bunny nest in my herb garden again! Are they gonna start popping their cute little heads out soon? Stay tuned as I do regular checks without getting too in their space

Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed! I went to check on em again when I was watering tonight and they’re moving around. Haven’t popped their heads out yet but the nest and leaves around it were rustling 😍😍

@@gingerbibliophile glad the pups will be behaving until the wee ones are hopping around. Will be quite the adventure.

Oh they aren’t behaving but they’ve been chased with the hose and threatened with a spanking. I checked when I got home and there was a slight ruffle of the nest so mama hasn’t moved em to another spot to hunt down ahead of Lil Man. Franny wants to sniff and mama em, even over mama bunny. 😂

I get rabbits pretty regularly, but mostly squirrels and chipmunks. My favorite though, is when a male and female Cardinal show up together. I have a Cockatiel, and the unique noises the Cardinals make really confuse her. My (Swedish) gf likes to call me knivigafågelmannen, knifey birdman.

Oh I love it! Usually the bunnies are super sneaky and sadly the chipmunks don’t visit anymore since Franny caught their leader off the fence 2 summers ago. There used to be one that hung out on a rock pile at the corner of the porch and snuck up on the table regularly to check for snacks 😂 The cardinals love it here and have “date night” most evenings if the squirrels and big birds left anything by then. I bet it’s adorable watching your cockatiel get confused by the other birds! The cowbirds we get have the most interesting vocals I’ve heard so far. Is there a story behind that nickname? Sounds like there should be a really fun one!
