Every time I hear “Checkmate” all I see is: Ruby: “Checkmate.” Yang: *shrugs* “Good game.” Blake and Weiss: *enters dorm room, weapons drawn* Yang: “We really need to rename that move.”

I swear this song always gets the blood pumping, but having it put behind particular scenes amplifies that even more. Great amv for a great song.

This song is pretty amazing and it has this electric beat to it for the battle as well. Really hope volume 10 happens and future volumes for RWBY

I love Flynt showing up right for the funky trumpet break 😂 For real though, this is sooo perfect! Brilliant scene choices, edited together beautifully! I think my favorite bit is Ruby's intro around 0:27, followed by your use of Weiss for "You know no one's perfect, but I'm pretty close" at 1:54 Just...*chef's kiss*

This is probably one of my favorite AMV that you have made this was my favorite song in season 9 the scene you chose for the song it fit so perfectly with the lyrics I love how you choose scenes from their evolution from the first season to the present and it’s truly a masterpiece I watched it twice I can’t wait for season 10 and to see when the show goes from here
