Cheese Nips are better. More cheesy, thicker, less flaky. Cheez Its are slightly thinner and flakier and I taste more salt than cheese.

Back when they were both easy to find, Cheese its, were very salty and had very little cheese flavor ( burnt crispy is not what I look for, lol) . Nip tasted cheesy and better all around.

This is what people do in the South. I wanna move there.

Cheez-Its White Cheddar are the BEST! Tami,you should give both of them a bottle of water to wash out the taste of the first brand before trying the second. But in this case, it wouldn't matter because Cheez-Its are so so so much better than Cheese Nips.

I first had cheese nips in the late 1970's as a young kid and I thought they were amazing. They had a rich cheese flavor and that is what gave it the "nip" in the taste. Fast forward 40 years, and I find them to be very bland today and the texture isn't as nice. Corners have been cut and they are not the same as I remember. I would pay more to have the old product back. These suck.

I prefer Cheese Nips, I love the cheesier flavor. To me, Cheez-its are so salty it overpowers any flavor the cracker might have, and they have a burnt taste. I like to taste the cheese with just a touch of salt. Ive been snacking on Cheese Nips since the late ‘90s and my taste hasn’t changed. People have different taste preferences! That is why it’s good to have choice options.

I prefer Cheezits because it has this burnt savoury taste to it, that I love, and way more flavours. Cheese nips to me are too light, and there is one flavour so even though its still okay, I just never buy it.

CHEESE ITS, ARE NOT THE SAME AS CHEESE NIPS

As a cheese cracker snack lover as well as an orangutan lover, the choice is easy for me, Cheese Nips are the superior choice! They have real cheddar and do not contain palm oil. In order to harvest palm oil, many orangutans are killed (often burned alive) or severely injured. Some people may not care about that and that's ok, but it's not cool with me. I have been buying all things palm oil free for many years now because of that. It turns out palm oil isn't very healthy for human consumption anyway. Cheese on cheese lovers!

Cheese Nips hands down taste way better!

The difference for me is that Cheez-It's give me terrible heartburn and Cheese Nips do not.

I like them both. For a heads up on Cheese Nips and their claim, original CHEEZ-IT is not cheddar. But it’s still real cheese. Cheese Nips are cheddar.

Cheese Nips definitely have a weird aftertaste! I liked them as a kid, but I prefer Cheez-Its as an adult. I love these blind taste tests! I'd like to see you guys do some comparisons of regular and reduced-fat versions of the same product. For example, regular Pringles, light Pringles, fat-free Pringles, etc. It'd be interesting to see if you could really taste the difference. Just a suggestion! :)

Does anybody remember Nabisco Cheese Tid-Bit crackers? They were more of a stick shape than a square. They were delicious!

Reduced Fat Cheez-Its are better than the regular ones. The regular ones have so much fat you don't even get the cheese taste. So I believe Reduced Fat Cheez-Its and Cheese Nips are better than regular Cheez-Its.

Sadly, public opinion seems to be that Cheez-Its are better, because in 2020, Nabisco discontinued Cheese Nips. Cheez-It introduced so many flavors that they, along with Goldfish, crowded Cheese Nips out of the market. Cheese Nips are still sold, but only in Canada as "Ritz Cheese Nips". Nabisco's main cheese cracker is now Ritz Cheese Crispers, and they're AWFUL. The cheddar taste is WAY too sharp for my liking. Not even dipping them in peanut butter like I would with Cheese Nips could make them taste right. Better Cheddar tastes good, but the boxes are tiny and I chew through them very fast. I like Goldfish, but I have a history of coming across boxes of them that aren't made right (either they're unsalted, have a burnt taste, weren't baked right, or, on one occasion, taste like Fritos; my mom always says she doesn't notice the difference, and gets on me for refusing to eat that box of Goldfish and say "they're expensive!"). Now for Cheez-Its. I'm lactose-intolerant, and Cheez-Its inflame that (Cheese Nips never did). If I pop a Lactaid pill, it really helps. In 2021, I heard that Extra Cheesy Cheez-Its were basically Cheese Nips. They ended up being regular Cheez-Its with cheese powder on them, like Flavor-Blasted Goldfish, but they're my favorite variety of Cheez-Its, regardless. I also like Cheez-It Puff'd, since they're basically just Cheeto Puffs shaped like cuboid Cheez-Its. My quest for a Cheese Nips alternative continues. Short of sending a strongly-worded email to Nabisco demanding the return of Cheese Nips to the United States, I have no idea where to go next.

Cheese Nips is a whole lot better than Cheez-It to me. Cheese Nips is actually made with real cheddar cheese made by THE cheese company Kraft. You can't go wrong with that, thus overall Cheese Nips taste a whole lot better. Cheez-It on the other hand taste a lot more artificial, weirdly sour, and cheap compared to Cheese Nips. Cheez-It is still pretty good, but it's nowhere near as great as Cheese Nips in my opinion. It really sucks Cheese Nips is discontinued here in the US. Nabisco, please bring these back.

I absolutely love watching your videos! Had an idea of a blind taste test I would love to see. Not sure if it's been done or not but it would be cool to see a fruit flavored cereal one. Using froot loops, fruity cheerios and maybe fruity pebbles for examples but tasting each individual color! Rumor has it each colored piece in each box is the same. Would love to know which boxes of cereal actually have done that!

My childhood snack was Cheez its dipped in smuckers peanut butter, the cheese flavor goes really well with the oily peanut butter.

Cheese Nips: Real cheddar cheese, original Cheez-It doesn't Cheez-It: 100% Real Cheese Easy. Cheez-It boxes don't say CHEDDAR cheese, so the two are probably made of different of different cheeses. Or, since it says "original," maybe Cheez-It didn't have real cheese AT FIRST, but now they do (I dunno, that's the best I got)
