Heyyy!! I watched Chef’s video just this morning when it first came out. Ahh, he has been one of my most favourite chefs on youtube for a couple of years! I watch him regularly with my son (we are dorks and we dance to his intro music 😂😂) Chef JP is the coolest! And kudos for 20k subscribers 🔥 I am not surprised though, because you are awesome sir. I found you for your reaction to asmongold, but I subscribed for you. Cheers ✌️

He is humble as well, he is the only chef on youtube that will admit a mistake, either too much salt or no salt, or he forgot an ingredient or two, or he overcooks something. This makes him the absolute BEST for me

The first time I saw Chef Jean-Pierre he said: "If your guests don't like butter, tell them to go and eat somewhere else". That sense of humour got me hooked. He is my favourite as well. What a great guy.

To any newcomers in the kitchen that are going to check out chef Jean Pierre; he used to also run a culinary school and his videos loosely follow that formula. Start with the videos from 2020 or so, then move along chronologically. He starts to introduce more advanced methods as he goes along. Clarified butter, for example, he uses often. He doesn't use it in the beginning because he hadn't yet made a video on making clarified butter. It's educational and fun and meant not to be overwhelming or scare off new home cooks. Hi Mr. Onyo if you see this lol!

Chef Jean Pierre is a master in the kitchen and that makes cooking fun with his unique sense of humor and his easy to follow tips and tricks that make extremely difficult recipe's not so intimidating. I made Eggs Benedict from his recipe... first time... they were perfect and delicious! What a great guy.

I am a Chef Jean-Pierre fan, he's always such a happy go lucky guy, and I agree he does such a great job making tasks seem much easier. That said, this seems really over the top for fries. Though I suppose if you are going to make "perfect french fries" there aren't going to be short cuts. This was another fun one! Thanks for sharing. :)

Trust me, follow chef JP's instructions and you will be very surprised at what you can cook. Start with some of his basic recipes, although even the ones that sound complicated are not. He makes them very easy. You just have to have everything prepped & ready to go. I did it, after all these years of burning water, so I know you can do it!

We used to have a local farmer's market distribution centre that sold frozen fries and they really seemed like they were only cooked this way and frozen. Not anything added like the name brands. we used to fry those up and or just bake them and they were great.

The thing for me is this: I can suffer trough even bad thin or shoestring fries. If a thicker fry is not crispy and limp, its a big no go for me. If I don't know the place I am ordering from or have to resort to take away(fries are rarely in best condition if they are delivered to you), ill usually take thin ones. Ill do the big chunky ones at home or eat on site at the place I know
