I've watched Kdramas since like a decade ago and I think this is the best kiss scene I've ever seen! The atmosphere, the tension, the yearning gaze, the hard breathing, the pause, the passion, and the way they reciprocate each other's feelings.. PERFECTION! I've watched over 50 kdramas, and respectfully, this is THE best kissing scene out there. It was so beautifully executed. The fake rain, the way he put her onto the counter top, the whole build up to the kiss !! I mean, did yall see that gaze ?! Man really asked "do i have permission?" AHHHHHHHH. Consent is so hot but he made it even hotter. It was so unexpected but so so perfect. And the way they looked at each other before the second kiss, I mean he was literally shaking. No other kdrama male lead could ever. This scene is definitely not going to help calm down the dating rumors, because bae that kiss seems like they've had some practice before ;) DID I MENTION THE HAND PLACEMENTS AND THE LIP BITE ?! yeah i have officially gone crazy.

NO BUT YALL DONT UNDERSTAND Guwon isnt just being a "gentleman" by asking permission, HE'S HER SUPERIOR AT WORK, and he knows first hand how hard she's worked to get to where she is, and how many things she's had to pretend to be happy with or do something she doesnt wanna do. Best kiss scene for me in all Kdramas!!! Gu Won asked permission because he knew he was going ALL in!! He was actually preparing her. This would be no little kiss. Usually the men in these dramas test the waters with a small kiss, pull away and wait for her reaction. Positive reaction then he goes for it. Or we get the shocked female's wide eyes of surprise, she doesn't kiss back and this is with small kisses. That's when the asking of permission really needs to happen.

I had a marathon watch for this Kdrama last night till the wee hours of the morning. Yes, the kiss was just insane and so passionate because it is not rushed and you savor every minute of it. The way he asked permission in a murmur and her response of just gazing into his lips then closing her eyes makes this really heart fluttering.
