Hi Nate, hi friends. The most I would pay for this buffet would be $35 per person. Can you imagine a family of four going for breakfast at chef Mickey? You're looking at a bill of over $250 with tip. When we visited the contemporary resort, we looked at chef Mickey and it was empty. The price rate is just too high for a family for breakfast.

The Contemporary is a very cool resort with the monorail inside! Iconic! Chef Mickey seems to be doing better! The characters meals are always more expensive. It is typically about the experience not really about the food. Thanks Nate!

As a southerner who was raised on biscuits and gravy, always cut the biscuit in half so that it’s thinner and increases the gravy to bread ratio! Alleviates the problem of dryness from too much biscuit per bite.

It’s fun seeing you hanging out with Gracie and trying fun things at home, like the soap dispenser and dog bed. It’s cool to see how theme park products actually work in everyday life, from the moment you buy them in a fun shop to testing them out. It would also be fun to see some short home vlogs mixed in where you hang out in your kitchen and make some fun theme park inspired snacks. Your personality and energy are so fun and chill, it’s a joy to watch your content wherever you are, whether on a roller coaster or giving Gracie a cookie. Down to earth and low stress vibes. We stayed at the Contemporary last August and our first meal was at Chef Mickey's for the character breakfast. The buffet had not yet been reopened, so everything was brought to the table. We thought it was DELICIOUS and definitely worth the price for our family of 4. One of our daughters is a vegetarian and there were plenty of things for her to eat (she LOVED the Mickey waffles!). We are going back again next summer and we will definitely go back to Chef Mickey's for breakfast again. The food was great and you can't beat the fact that all of the characters come to your table for personal pictures. We were happy enough with that and didn't feel pressure to take tons of pictures with the characters in the park. A great experience and highly recommended!

if your a person like me and could care less about watching a bunch of people in costumes walking around, the price is really not worth it. For that much money you can feed a family of 4 and still have left overs. No child at the age of 3 is going to eat $33 worth of food.

Pricey? Yes, but I can’t wait to take my daughter there so she can meet all the characters during her first Disney trip! The food looks better than I anticipated and lots of selection too! Would be perfect for a brunch

We did this over this past Christmas with our 5 year old grandson and it was one of our favorite Disney memories of the trip. Not too concerned with the price since its not something we do all the time. They served us family style which was nice and the character interaction was great. Great memories were created!

If your kid doesn’t eat much than this isn’t for them. If you think it’s expensive considering ITS DISNEY then it’s not expensive it’s just not in your price range.

I love my Mickey soap dispensers. I have two. You need to hold your hand very close to the dispensing of soap and it comes out perfect! 😊😊

The price is crazy...I don't see a lot of good quality protein (except the salmon), for this pric3e they should have a choice of freshly cooked beef and ham and chicken or turkey...It is basically the same old Disney bacon and sausages ...there is a lot of carbs items but these are cheap... I wouldn't pay more than $35 for this

Thanks for the video. I think that (51 bucks) is close to what I paid for character breakfast at goofy’s kitchen in California. Chef Mickey’s looks yummy. I have not been to chef Mickey’s, but I highly recommend goofy’s kitchen for breakfast if you are in Southern California. They have chilaquiles (it is like Mexican breakfast nachos-so good, as well as the chicken and waffles pizza, raspberry bars, omelets, Mickey waffles, etc (characters there are chip, dale, Pluto, goofy, and Minnie). For Mickey waffles, the best I ever had was at carnation cafe on Main Street in Disneyland. That Mickey waffle was top notch, decked out with powdered sugar, and sitting out on Main Street sipping coffee with a Mickey waffle is sweet.

Chef Mickey's was our very 1st character dining.... We LOVE it and are so excited the buffet is back and the DP' s... So so exciting As.for the price... If you plan it at around 11am you can catch the switch from breakfast to lunch and eat a bit more.... Then you really aren't hungry for the rest of the day... Great video...thank you Nate

When using the soap dispenser place your hand under the pump but touching the "legs" around the Mickey head, then pump. It makes a perfect mickey that way.

I have not been to Chef Mickey l’s in a very long time. I love the character interaction. I really love that you can just pop in to Magic Kingdom when you want to. 😊 that is a very good deal on the soap dispenser, you can’t pass that up. It is always good to see Gracey at the end of your videos. I hope your Mother had a great Mother’s Day!!

I believe the batter for the Mickey waffles is different because it’s Malted Waffle Batter.

Glad your back! I’ve read that Disney uses Golden Malted Waffle Mix for their Mickey waffles. I also have one of those Mickey waffle makers at home and can’t quite get them to turn out like Disney’s. I’ve never tried that mix though. 😊

I understand you get to see the characters but $51 dollars seems on the high end, if a family goes you are over $200 for breakfast on top of park entry.

Granted it was 2009 & 2012, but I loved Chef Mickey's food as we did both dinner & breakfast. Granted, we used the dining plan back then but I think the price is well worth it because you're guaranteed the characters to spend quality time & interact with you. Just like in California, where I always go to Goofy's Kitchen every trip. Every time I go, the characters help make amazing memories....and not just Goofy's, as I been to every Disneyland character meal & did almost all of them in WDW in 2009 & 2012.
