But what if you don’t have access to a stove or oven, like a college student living in a dorm room? This contraption would be PERFECT for them and others in similar situations. Also, it would be wonderful to use the oven setting on this machine during the summer time when my home is running hot (I don’t have air conditioning), instead of firing up and running my big gas oven, which makes the temperature in my home even hotter.

Like what turned out to be disappointing and didn’t work as advertised, if anything? Was anything surprising, or difficult to figure out? Has the non-stick pot coating started to chip off or get scratched up (that would suck if the manufactures were no longer around to be able to buy a replacement pot if it ever becomes necessary)? P.S. One of the meals Kathy made here had me scratching my head. She had broccoli steaming in the white steamer tray, while pasta was cooking below it. I imagine it’s nearly impossible to get perfectly cooked broccoli (not under cooked or overcooked) when cooking it at the same time, in the same pot, as the main course, as they’d require different cooking times. You have to have come across that problem with your machine, right? Just curious. It seems like they are overpromising how “smart” the machine is.
