You should not use cling wrap in microwave. It isn't completely microwave safe and it shouldn't touch food particles.

Should we cling wrap ?? Is it mandatory?? Can u mention the temperature levels ?

It isn’t mandatory, however the purpose of the cling wrap is to trap moisture and steam the rice gently. If you use heat proof cling wrap it’s completely safe! You can however replace it with a tight lid, but remember, it shouldn’t be metal 🙃

The total microwaving time for this would come up to 50 minutes. Just make sure to use a proper microwave safe bowl and microwave it at small timings and not all at once.
