Hi Chef! I can see myself in you guys when we were starting our lives here in the US. Finding stuffs you needed to make a house into a home. Next thing we knew, 30 years had gone by, and time to go back home and start the final chapter of our life. This time, we planned everything ahead of time , and decided to buy a 1 Br condo in BGC. So, the next journey will be , turning the condo into a livable place, not just moving around in a “ confined box” but transform the place into an exciting “homey ambiance “! And perfect timing, I saw your video, which gives me so much ideas on how to start/begin filling up an empty space into a fantastic place, especially the choosing of “indoor plants “ which I think the hardest part for me to handle. Anyway, this has been a very long comment. But Chef JP, you’ve been and will always be a great inspiration to everyone who are following your channel. Happy anniversary to both of you and the best of luck on your new found home away from home, but we knew for sure “The Way To a Man’s Heart is through His Stomach”, and that’s exactly what you’re doing to everyone, to come and celebrate with you and experience the best home cooking in your restaurant and fill their hungry stomach. We bought our first house here in Canada two years ago and yess buying stuff for the house gets really expensive. We ended up spending around 25K CAD to complete the things my wife wanted lol. Kargador lang ako at tigabayad haha cant really say no to her.

Hello Chef JP and Camille! Congrats on your new apartment! Just a curious question: what made you choose to invest in Dubai and make it your new home even though they still do not offer citizenship? Ingredients are super cheap in Dubai when we visited. Onions are like 15 aed per kilo. Meat and Fish is also relatively cheap. The only expensive part I think is the real estate and the rent and the manpower for the restaurant. Anyway, thank you for putting forward Filipino food in the world! Another question: are you renting your apartment or is it possible to buy it 100% owned? Thanks for your reply!
