Sometimes I prefer long hair but other days I prefer short hair... it’s a constant battle

The bottom of my hair grows the fastest too. My hair's layered so it's not that bad. I prefer health over length but my goal is waist length

The Shea Moisture company recently came under new ownership. So if you’ve noticed a difference in consistency, that may be why. I’ve even compared a masque I bought from the Jamaican Black Castor Oil line a few months ago to an older bottle I had kept from when I first bought the product and even some of the ingredients have changed. That was honestly one of my favourite deep conditioners and the results are just not the same anymore 😔

Hi from Arizona :) Sounds like you were pretty near me when you visited lol. My hair flattened out last week too. The dew point here was awful last week (10-14 degrees F) and the humidity was low, so I think that’s why our curls flattened out and dried up. I prefer long hair, and that’s what I have. It’s easier for me to deal with when the added weight helps tame poofiness. Plus I was never allowed to grow my hair out as a kid. I’ll never cut my hair shorter than just past the top of my hipbones again.

CRN products are my holy grails. The algae renew is an awesome mask. I prefer short hair at this stage of my life (retired!). Have you tried the Shea Moisture Manuka Honey and Mafura Oil Mask? That is a really good mask as well.
