As a lifelong chelsea fan this is the lowest I have felt since perhaps the 2008 UCL final. There is none of the passion or ambition there used to be. A mediocre coach who’s won nothing apart from gimme trophies at PSG. Players who either haven’t been here long enough or are just collecting a wage. Owners with zero understanding of the game. It’s a very dark time and I’m not sure I can say I love this club like I used to. Something HAS to change.

Sitters? First one was at an acute angle, first time from a fizzed cross and he just caught the post. Next one Kelleher was half a yard away because the pass was slow and he had to slow down to match it. The other was behind defenders from 18 yards out. Shall we talk about how he played the final ball three times before Sterling choked and Palmer hit it straight at the keeper from five yards out (with more of a gap between him and the goalie, but at closer range), or how Palmer failed to anticipate his pullback and let Robertson clear, or how Fernández tried to back heel his third ball into a dangerous area, or how his set piece ended up kneed into the air? The four highest rated chances were all inside the six yard line and he didn't hit any of those. I haven't seen a word against Palmer who took five shots and offered nothing, yet Gallagher was one of the best performers until his running himself into the ground for 96 minutes had him cramp up because he was STILL causing carnage in extra time. What a shock we looked useless when he came off and the likes of Madueke and Mudryk came on 😭

As a Liverpool fan, id have been happy wether we won it or chelsea did. I thought it was a great game personally, probably because we have 9 of our main players out and still managed to pull it off. Both keepers played great games and Gallagher was one of the best on the pitch considering he was out of position. Id be pissed too though if i were you guys, but it really wasnt a bad game at all
