Weiner is playing with more confidence now, this guy will be phenomenal for Chelsea. Our boys looked really good tonight, enjoying playing with themselves, controlling the pace of the game, handling pressure quite well. I respect the direction TT is taking us, once our boys finally get this pattern on lock it'll be difficult to take Chelsea on and i love it.

Once again we’ve done everything right apart from scoring more goals. That’s the only thing killing us all the time not being clinical enough, and the problem with that is no matter how good we play, all it takes is the opponent to get one simple chance and take it for the game to be drawn or lost. Countless times in countless games where we’ve should of scored 3, 4, 5 goals but end up winning simply by 1 or 2 and although the performances have been class it’s frustrating not seeing the ball in the back of the opponent’s net. We must be more clinical or it will keep coming back to haunt us.

Lukaku was Decent, I’d say he needs to find a run of goals sooner rather than later, though. Havertz was great, sad to hear about his broken finger. Pulisic wasn’t much to talk about, just glad he’s staying fit. Werner was great, made a handful of decent opportunities, dying to see one in the back of the net Mount was okay, offers attacking options as per, wasn’t too impactful to our overall performance, though. Ziyech was my MOTM today, alongside one or two others, love Hakim’s deliveries, need to see more of him RWB. Saul had his best game yet; I’d say the past 2-3 appearances have gone from acceptable to MOTM level. Great to see. Need more of it. The Marcos Alonso Paradox continues: great in offence, multiple key passes, usually dire in defence, but did well today. Malang Sarr being the other MOTM contender, following a confident showing, need as many options as we can get, so if this is anything to go by, I’m feeling a bit more confident about the squad. An overall great performance from everyone, COVID absences are never great, minor injuries, the same But a general great game, enough to hopefully build upon.
