She also, somehow, called Kai Havertz's signing for my club Arsenal a great signing, when I laughed at her and wrote him off as a waste of money. Now she is fuming that Poch has been pushed out out the club, because of fake Chelsea fans like Rory Jennings, who she is convinced only started supporting Chelsea during the Roman Empire! The harsh reality is,the only reason pochettino finished 6th is because united had too many injuries and as did Newcastle, otherwise they'd be 8th. They were horrible 90% of the season and only in the last Month did they scrap a bit of form. But pochettino is awful, he lost the league to leicester, he bottled the league with psg, now he quit to go to man united
@JayTechZM28 күн бұрын
that excuse doesn't check out when Chelsea literally had the highest injury bill in all top 5 leagues in Europe so saying that makes no sense. No Reece James, Barely had Nkunku lavia Fofana and so much more. So the injury excuse holds zero weight when Chelsea have been in strong form losing just 3 in 19.

Thanks for calling out Rory Jennings here, I'm a Chelsea fan who gave Poch a chance and felt vindicated by finishing sixth and playing good football. meanwhile Rory has made video after video calling for Poch to be sacked after any disappointing result. we needed to give him time and a season where our treatment room didn't resemble a scence from the walking dead, but no we get rid of him and are now linked with a ton of terrible managers.

Silly season is here already! Honestly, there's a bigger chance of The Irish Guy being named the new Chelsea manager, than it being Thomas Frank who's revealed as the next manager there! I mean, why would he even want to? At Brentford, he's allowed more or less total control over the team and if Toney gets sold for a bundle this summer, he'll finally try what's it's like to have a large transfer budget at his disposal. At Chelsea, it clearly doesn't matter if you're a success or not, you're still getting fired the second that their fan base turns against you. Even if it's a high paying job to be manager at Chelsea, it won't be easy to attract a top manager this summer for them, now where everyone knows that those are the working conditions there, and they'll probably have to settle for a choice that's far down their wish list. The only logical choice that I can think of is Allegri, if he's decided that he wants to try managing in a different league, now that he's gotten sacked at Juventus.
@franohmsford754829 күн бұрын
Jurgen Klopp was relegated with Mainz and even failed to achieve promotion the following season before quitting and taking the Dortmund job. The top English clubs are much much more conservative in managerial choices than top clubs elsewhere - Even Real Madrid gave both Solari and Zidane the job simply after doing well with their B team in the lower leagues. This is why English managers do not get a chance with the big clubs.......Any English, British or even Irish manager taking the Chelsea job is just asking for trouble, the Chelsea job is a poisoned chalice! Even so I'd like to ask how Kompany is a better option for Chelsea than Mckenna? Is it just because Kompany's famous as a player? How did that work out for Lampard?

Luton Fan - I think Poch's job is CRIMINALLY underrated. He walks into a shambles, and an owner that knows absolutely nothing, and force fed transfers he didn't want. Then he's left with numerous unexperienced youngsters, who are all investments with hefty pricetags so he has to play them so the shareholders are happy. Turns out a lot of them are crap, has to play them anyways, key injuries to key players, then finally and somehow finds form and important points like the one vs City or united. For most of the season, I thought Poch wasn’t the right man for Chelsea. I don’t support them, but I could see from a mile away how him being a previous Spurs manager would go, especially after Rafa. And with how inconsistent they were for the first 2/3 of the season, I thought they’d have to sack him just to have a chance to scrape 7th. But I was wrong. He coached players well, got the best out of Cole Parker and Connor Gallagher, and they managed to get Europa league football, winning the last 5 games I believe. For the first time under new ownership, it looked like They were clicking, and going in a good direction. But now, all of that progress seems gone. Whether he walked or was sacked, letting Poch go was a big mistake. If I had to guess, he’ll end up as either Bayern Manager, or maybe even Barcelona down the line, and do well. As for Chelsea, unless they get the perfect fit, I doubt they’ll finish higher than 6th again next season. Oh boy Todd, what have you done?
