What you have to remember, is that all these young players have only ever known Chelsea being a more successful club than Arsenal, Man Utd and Liverpool over the last 20 years, and as a consequence Chelsea are a bigger pull, as well as being in the centre of the most vibrant city in the world. Chelsea don`t pay top money anymore, its only opposing fans that like to assume that, as opposed to the reality that young players prefer to go to Chelsea.

It's not only that Chelsea will pay more, it's that it is London, most foreigners, especially the young would rather be in an International vibrant city.These guys seem to forget that some of these players have wives and would rather live in London over Liverpool or Manchester. Can you imagine pitching Liverpool or Newcastle as a place to live to their wives? Good luck with that. There is a sexiness to Chelsea and London that other English teams don't have and until Arsenal or Spurs win something, Chelsea will be seen as the hip London club and that's where the young guys are going to want to be.
