Chelsea really fumbled it, they should have tried harder and gone in for Kudus. He would have made perfect sense of all the suggestions on the righthand side. Palmer surprised us all and boy am I glad! would've preferred Kudus over Olise though

I think one thing that is a must depending on whether we lose CG or not… and that’s having players that can press from the front. We can’t bring in more players who are unwilling to sustain a press… we aren’t defensively capable enough to not have that energy upfront

I prefer to sign olmo. Firstly his a good player very intelligent. Secondly his a cheaper option to olise and leao. Olise is injury prone so I feel like signing him won't help solve our injury problems

💯💯💯The kid is a very humble and respectful person and he ll work hard for us. Greece played Georgia for the euros qualifiers. Our players were breaking his legs during the whole game and the dude gave an interview after they had won,that Greece is a good team and thank them for playing against us... He didn't even complain at all.

Enzo needs to get it now, he needs to play in the Copa America to help his country and also to help his fitness and bring his level back up. It's really selfish for the club which has nothing to fight for anymore to want him to forgo that experience. If he gets the surgery early watch him be one of the best players at the tournament again.

How much game time has been given to Mudryk this season as compared to Jackson who misses a lot of chances but plays every game and has less criticisms. I don't think Jackson does practice to overcome his failure to score goals when he is one on one with a goalkeeper. If he does, then he is doing it the wrong way. If it were Mudryk missing such chances though he has played just minutes the entire season, you pundits, you could have condemned him beyond human critic. If Mudryk was equally given game time like Jackson, we could have had one best striker in him. But he is not liked by Pochetino naturally just like his colleague Maduweke, the bench warmers, and expect them to produce miracles in our games.

Poch is putting his interest ahead of Chelsea and the player when it comes to Enzo. If not now, when the season is effectively dead, when is he to have this surgery? You’re effectively sending him half fit to an international tournament and we’re going to be without him for a long period of time next year - depending on how much damage Poch is doing to him.

Always enjoy your analysis and perspective. Great video as usual. I theorize that Olise and Leao aren’t true targets at this point for Chelsea. Obviously agents want to maximize potential demand for their clients and Chelsea is always an easy name to leak as potential suitors. I think with the eventual arrival of Kendry and Palmer’s ability to play on the right and in the half space on that side, it isn’t good utilization of our limited funds. Don’t kill me for saying this, but I also believe Leao doesn’t have the defensive work rate needed for this very young and immature team. Overall, I’m not sure his profile helps this manager or a different manager maintain off-the-ball standards that we already struggle with at times given our youth filled squad. I believe we need to focus on a striker with the money we have available for this summer. With that said, I believe Jackson is the solution to our left wing questions. As you say, his intangibles are great - work rate, passion, desire, etc. He is also ahead of his years in ball carrying capabilities. I think we continue to allow him to cut his teeth in this league coming from the left, working with a proven finisher in the middle. The other area of concern for me is LB. I think the team could talk Gusto into playing on the left if Reece is healthy. I believe he has forced the team to figure out how to have Reece and himself on the pitch at the same time. Other than moving Reece into RCB or maybe an 8, I think Malo could easily adapt to playing on the left. Imagine Reece James and Malo Gusto on opposite flanks with Colwill and Fofana having the ability to lock down the middle. The majority opposing managers would have a nightmare given most teams don’t have elite defenders on both sides. They would be a massive headache. If we manage to sign an actual finisher and our medical staff is able to figure out this injury crisis, next year could be very exciting. I just hope our fans are able to see this.

Watching just a final to judge oshimen overall football ability is stupid, top premier league players that were present in the afcon were flops example salah, mahrez and kudus. They couldn’t even lead their teams pass the group stage at afcon. Oshimen created penalties, scored a goal, gave an assist and pressure defense.

We already have a conductor in Enzo in deeper areas. We've Cole who's the reference point in chance creation. When Thiago plays, he's sort of the cook in defense. Colwill is the new cook. It's all covered in each zonal level. We need more Jacksons, Gustos and Conors. The willing runners for these cooks.

I’m sorry but us not signing Olise was a blessing in disguise. He’s injury prone as hell!We also got Cole Palmer as a result AND they got to see what one of the few shinning lights of last season (Noni) can do. He’s not THAT much better than Noni. The Madueke disrespect has to stop. 🤦🏿♂️We don’t need anymore left footed right wingers. We have the Brazilian kid at Strasbourg too. We have Mudryk who needs to develop AND Jackson plays brilliantly on the left. We don’t need Leao. I never wanted him. He absolutely smells like a bust to me. Reminds me of Sancho in PL. totally different players but I feel like his game won’t translate well. We don’t need to take that risk. We’re good. All we need is a striker and Diogo Costa. THATS IT!!! Maybe a LB but that would be pushing it.

I believe we should let Enzo go. It makes no sense that we risk him getting injured. Caicedo, Gallagher, and Chukwuemeka should be able to finish the season with Cole palmer coming back. This injury crisis should be our first priority for next season, because Poch is the right man he just needs two three more exceptional talent with experience to help him out. Because can clearly see that inexperience is a problem on the team
