Great natural chops.... if you don't have them at 9, you probably never will. Her solid tempo and rhythmic sense are good, but is, at this age, not yet too involved with the music.. even Ellen said she "looked bored". But similar criticism was directed at the young Josef Hofmann, so... she can still grow! Brava... from a fellow Brooklyn pianist.

A lot of music is easy to remember. But some are damned difficult. This particular one is quite easy to memorise. I've always had a lot of trouble committing the Chopin 3rd sonata first movement to memory.
