Van Dijk does that game in game out even if the ball is at the opponents feet but he never gets penalised even when he is the last defender. Carlos just completely gave up on the ball and allowed it to drop to Badiashile. The ball is up in the air, its not at Carlos' feet neither was he in possession.

As a Chelsea fan, it’s 50/50 but 1 is it a clear and obvious error and 2 if it was in our box would it be a pen. I also get that if villa would have done that I would have been fuming

I’m a Chelsea fan and I’m saying it was correctly disallowed. A lot of Chelsea fans agree as well. Badiashile had no need to do it either, he’s half a foot taller than Douglas Luiz.

Shove in the back - clear foul. Chelsea and Poch should be done for their reaction and comments. Ref got it wrong, VAR corrected him, therefore VAR did its job.

@@matthewtrigg7432 yes but what is VAR for. I have no issue them saying that was a push therefore it’s a foul on Diego Carlos as long as they are consistent and call out other Pushes in the box also. It’s like Grealish gets away with a handball then a similar movement of ball to hand happens the day later in the other semi against wan bissaka and it’s given. The consistency or Lack there of absolutely drives me crazy.
