I can totally see this song being inspired by Elisa Lam and the mysterious circumstances surrounding her death. Also, it’s terrifying how she portrays The Abyss/Death here, as though it’s an alluring but manipulative and evil being in this song. It’s a warning to those who venture too far into those thoughts, and get lost along the way.
