Ok, some key Players missing, but the Defending by Chelsea was woeful at times and needs to be worked on. Nice to see Kirby back and some great additions signed....things are once again looking good for the Blues :0)

Bright & Carter weren't in the squad & Eve started on the bench. The best back 4 would be Lawerence, Millie, Carter & Eve. That woud be a lot more solid. Then we'd have Niamh, Maren & Buchanan on the bench for cover & Nowen as a spare DEF in the squad. 1st goal we conceeded was a class goal, but the 2nd shouldn't have been conceeded, but with a fully fit 1st team back 4 & Musovic as GK, we will be a lot better. It also didn't help that Cuthbert was missing as we really missed her box-to-box energy, passing & possession keeping (in the middle of the pitch) & her playing would massively help out the DEF.

Beever-Jones definitely onside too. The Roma player at the near post when the corner is taken is slow to move out. First half we were a bit shaky at the back. But improved a lot in the second half. Roma start their season proper two weeks before the WSL and are a little advanced in their training schedule so it's a good performance in the circumstances.

We did well with some key players missing, but we missed Cuthbert's box-to-box energy, passing & possession keeping (in the middle of the pitch) in that 1st half. Sjoeke did the Cuthbert role well when she was brought on. Also, absolutely no offence to Mia, since she is brand new to the first XI & it takes time to bed in, but there were several crosses that landed between the 6 yard box & the penalty spot, where Sam would have been in position for those crosses & Mia wasn't in those places to get on the end of those crosses/passes. So if Mia can get into those positions like Sam regularly does, then Mia will be a fantastic sub striker & Sam will be able to get more rest this coming season. 💙💙💙

What i mean is that Jackson is not creative enough. This is an advice to the strikers that ' if u ar shooting first calculate the distance btn u and the goal post, the g keeper, the position of the ball, and learn to balance your foot /leg as u ar kicking the ball to the net cos if u don't balance if u find the ball going out side the goal post. Please my brz of Chelsea forgive me but that's the reality cos with me i used to score @ and every match as long as i enter the the pitch and God bless me that I know how to play both legs and to score with both very well without failure, so do that my friends those were my tactics in football
