John Terry in his prime, was WAY better than Ramos in his prime. He was also ahead of Boateng. From this generation, only Chiellini and Godin could come close to that Terry. Didn't JT get into the FIFPro World XI 4 or 5 times in a row before 2009 or something? Also, JT has scores quite a few goals.. most as a defender in the PL, IIRC, so Ramos..

I do beleive terry is one of if not the best defender to ever play the game, but sergio ramos is not overrated....hes so a world class defender and just like terry, ramos is there when his team needs him.

Cech-JT-Lamps-Drogba, gosh we might never see a spine like that ever again, for 8 straight seasons, we had all those men and that's why the spirit of that team was unbreakable. No matter what happens as a Chelsea fan, I know I'll never be as happy as the moment Drogba scored that last penalty in Munich and I'll never be as sad as when Anelka's penalty got saved by van Der Sar.

An absolute legend, best centre back I've ever seen and the best captain I've ever seen. I do think however people should stop comparing defenders here, the players mentioned Ramos, Bonucci etc are all great players in there own right.
