This beast would of absolutely smashed the champion hurdle field to pieces. My favorite ever horse.

Our Conor was top-class here and is the most impressive Triumph Hurdle winner I've seen. However, former juvenile hurdlers have a dismal win record as 5yos in both the Champion Hurdle and the Stayers Hurdle. Katchit is the only 5yo to win since See You Then and both winners were helped by problems affecting the favourite. Brownes Gazzette ducked out at the start in 1985 (with or without the intentions of his jockey) and Sizing Europe went wrong when challenging after two out in 2009.

La Fontana was still a maiden over hurdles after this race and the next year won the Mersey Novices Hurdle at Aintree after winning the County Hurdle at Cheltenham.

This performance of Our Conor was world class. The Champion Hurdle in March promises to be a big race. He jumps the hurdles but like no other, so good, so fast. He is very, very hard to beat. With all respect to Hurricane Fly, My Tent Or Yours and The New One, But Our Conor moves in other dimensions. Can I watch the race over and over again

It was you lot that started on me for having an opinion! Explain how my knowledge is limited? I've had a very profitable year including a 400-1 treble at cheltenham and my main national bet being the winner at 100-1. I guess I ain't too bad then.

I believe he would of and there's nothing there to suggest he wouldn't have. Jezki was impressive I backed him myself, but no one can deny that champagne fever clearly didn't run to his best. No matter how well jezki wins in 5 horse races I personally will never back him in big fields as previous form shows he's a small field horse.

Our conor is a potential great so who is to say he won't win the champion next year. A few runs through the season maybe taking on and beating mtoy or even the fly will see that 6/1 for him disappear though you can't justify backing a horse now for Cheltenham. Anything could happen, there are over 100 bones in a horses leg it only takes one of them to break and thats it over

He wouldn’t lay a glove on goshen......and he beat absolutely nothing in behind.....but still a super talented horse who never got to fulfil his potential.....

Impressive indeed but shouldn't be favorite for the champion. In all honesty he demolished a load of below average horses. Had MTOY run against this field the outcome would have been at least the same. Yet you can get double the price at 10-1 for MTOY.

There's no shame in MTOY coming second to course specialist champagne fever. The supreme is a graveyard for favorites. Binocular, cue card and sprinter sacre aint half bad for supreme losers! And can you elaborate how our conor has 50 times the form of champagne fever? I seem to remember jezki was you best hurdler before cheltenham and were did he finish? Behind MTOY.

I think aintree proved that the triumph horses were awful and our conor beat nothing. Ye he won well but he won no better than any of the other leading contenders in the champion would have. He will be found out by better horses and is a false favorite.

Irish horses have always been over-rated and the only reason they over performed at this years cheltenham was due to the state of the ground. You gotta laugh at how sprinter sacre and cue card raped the apparent best 2mile 5 horse flemenstar.

And pique sous wasnt a bad little each way bet at 28-1 on his champion bumper form. The ground he depends on just didn't come. Big deal.
