Sorry, I'm just a bit confused, for chlorine why did you include 8 crosses when explaining about trigonal planar and linear? It only has 7 electrons right? So technically shouldn't it be binding with the one electron of boron? Otherwise it would be 9 electrons in the outer shell instead of 8 right?

Do you know why that the tetrahedral is not like a cross in shape . What was shown here is the three atoms bonds going at an angle and one going up but I drew it as a plus symbol ( direction of bond ) why is this incorrect? There is no lone pair there either🤔
