This scene is an extremely good PSA for all of us. You can aim high and have aspirations but never at the sake of others' well-being. Don't commit a crime and then expect others to feel sorry for you. You knew what you did when you set her up. Disgusting behaviour.

So because I think you live a better life than I do, then it’s ok for me to set you up and let you potentially take the fall for a crime I committed. But then I turn around and “try” to apologize by telling you that I was actually kinda doing you a favor when I framed you for something illegal. SMH, some people. I’m so glad she didn’t forgive her. I’m sick of dramas where the scheming person gets forgiven (because the FL always has to be the bigger person) or they get a redeeming story arc suddenly making them a good person.

I think it's good. It is beautifully written and is very relative to Chinese women who have deep filial relations. The distinctions of each character is carefully distributed so that you can say the story is well-rounded. I don't think it's shitty but it's your opinion anyway. I mean we can like or not like something but I don't think shitty should be used to describe an artist's work. Hoping you DON'T have a shitty life. ❤
