The red light oil lamp warning will not come in the night. Even in the morning it will come after 1 hour of driving, that's based on the engine temperature. I have faced the exact problem after buying second hand polo from the dealer. I spent more than 50k but no solution. Finally, we found that the radiator fan is not working properly due to internal damage and long clock run. Now changed that along with oil pressure switch and the problem is solved. Hope this is useful to someone facing the issue. My advise for the second hand buyers, Especially diesel polo and Vento, Check the vehicle at the max speed and rpm and drive at least an hour to identify all the issues. The clever dealers make the car to run few kilometers without any issues, But if you hit hard the paddle you will find out all issues.

I'm very sure, it doesn't clocked 80K, definitely KM tampered. Please check it thoroughly or else you will face heavy maintenance in future. German cars runs like normal even >80k to 2L . Also coolant pump B will give more life, 150K or > 10yrs. Also in video you said about gear shift problem, plz change gear oil 80% may be.

As per my opinion this vehicle km reading 80+k but look like 200k running km tearing seat in 80k not possible because I am having same model vehicle with 140+ k running may be chances for odometer reading restructuring..

For 2013 tdi, if it's not exceed 2 owners, it's should be pretty good deal for 3L, we can able to repair these things easily, if there is any injector issue and missing complaint stay away from that type of vehicles, especially in vw. This car engine behaves good while starting and in idling.

9:40 The fact which I experienced myself , One of My MK1 Octavia 1.9 PD TDi had ran about 3.85L Kms and My MK6 Jetta 2.0 CR TDI had ran 1.45L Kms still both dosen't seem to be aged . both are my fav mile muchers , Yes I agree the service costs are little on higher side . Once you start enjoying the driving pleasure on Highways you will never mind about the Ownership costs. Man the confidence you get while driving these Germans ! Vento and Rapid are not too costiler to maintain than their competitors , they are around 10-15% higher but definitely worth what you pay for !

First after driving your saying Volkswagen very nice performance so you can buy, then when the oil error came you say not to buy. Then after seeing the coolant leak you said again to buy then finally when you saw the coolant bottle in the driver side door your saying not to buy. I think sir you just diagnose and convey the results of the car to the customer and customer will take a decision whether to buy or not you leave to the customer’s choice. This is a suggestion. Also Volkswagen and VAG German cars never uses green colour coolant ideally it should be red or pink you didn’t even mention that anywhere in the video at all. Kindly advise customers not to use green colour coolant for German cars.

That indicator light is not of any oil its radiator related issue, and it comes when engine is overheating. Usually changing everything related to radiator fixes this issue. I bought a vento and found the same issue, took it to vw dealership and they billed around 80k for it. Usually you need to replace the whole radiator and intercooler along with all whose pipes. Also I noticed the radiator coolant is of green colour in the coolant tank. Vw only uses Orange coloured coolant.

Vw and skoda will run well till they die. This car should have ran about 1.8lac km or more than it. No proper service record. Sync mesh in gear box is gone Coolant oil problem, Oil indicator problem As per this condition it can be valued to 1.5 or 1.6 laks . If customer can spend 1 lak more than the buying cost. If he have good mechanic in hand and if he have some basic knowledge about the car and if he got sync with the rhythm of the car health and handling . He can gohead buying

Coolant oil level is higher then the maximum", while boiling coolant steam will form, so need space for the steam. In this too much pressure because less space for steam. Must maintain the coolant in-between minimum and maximum.

Seems like ecm reflashed or replaced, that's why too many errors, since Europe cars stores odo readings in ecm, inorder to reverse odo they did something with the ecm.

2 to max. 2.75 lakh should be the final deal, for me it's not good sense to buy more than 2.5l . Because the previous owner or owners thrashed the car in and out and didn't care well at least with the local workshop if not with the service centre. Actually the consultant is impressed by the performance but forgot the upcoming hidden costs that are waiting to unfold. For sure the gear box has issues which would be costly if the new owner wants to fix interms of VW costs. My advice to the buyer is, if he is still want the VW better he extends his budget to 5l and find a well maintained model or he should buy a new VW if he wants to drive trouble free. Stay away from this brother

We brought 65000km vento at 5.5lac. It is a beast. I hope your vehicle need to change the clutch, suspension, timing belt and flywheel. FYI also need to check the fuel injuctor. May be addition cost you have to spend 1.5 to 2lac. Think before you buy. By looking the interior quality very very poor maintenance.

This car is not neatly maintained and should have run more kms and injector or pump problem I had the same problem with my previous car ( vento) and was not able to fix it… better to ignore this… you will get frequent break down in this condition… Search for another vento keep budget as 4lak bro you will get a neat car rather than spending money on this car….
