Cher must have been in awe of their talent. Diamond was already a millionaire from a myriad of hit songs and Campbell was one of the best singers and guitar players in the world. She really owed Sonny for setting her up by putting her on the map.

What an incredible piece of live music performance and television history. Thank you very much to you who posted this clip. This is unbelievable. I don't know the date of this performance but it is probably from Glen Campbell's weekly variety show, very late 60's or early 70's. Glen Campbell was huge for already a few years and then to have two big stars, Diamond and Cher, amazing. Cher was still with Sonny at this time, so this was an interesting solo appearance for her, actually, a real coup for her, and she and Sonny would do the Sonny/Cher show probably later than Glen's show; all three big stars, Campbell already established, and Diamond on the literal edge of mega-international stardom, and Cher would follow in the eighties, all on the same night, same stage, LIVE, singing Diamond's hits is just unbelievable. On top of that, the performance was spectacular, which is a tribute to the universality of Diamond's music, and all three performed beautifully, Cher was totally into it, all three very happy, and pure live performance and music. Thank you so much. Very happy.

This is from the "Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour". Neil was a guest on this show a few times. I believe this one aired on Nov. 19, 1969. I saw it that night. There's another video that sometimes is on KZfaq, but I couldn't find it just now, featuring these two guys plus Linda Ronstadt doing a Neil Diamond medley on another of these shows.

Neil is so talented and when another great Artist endorses him ( Glen Campbell) you can take it to the bank that he truly is. Cher has been a favorite as well. I'll never forget when she and Sonny Bono were a team and their renditions were top ten many times. However, Neil is the main headliner I am concerned with here. His music transcends all musical barriers as far as I am concerned. As stated previously, he sings from the heart which is more than a lot of modern day singers can boast.
