Despite being recognized as its own nation, the Cherokee Nation and its citizens were subjected to the Indian Removal Act, forcing them to leave their homes and move west of the Mississippi.

My great Grandma's grandparents walked the trail of tears. I read this book by Gloria Jehoda which she writes that the during the trail of tears the Cherokee people were so hungry that they were freaking out eating bark off of trees and they had to kill a horse and eat it just to survive. The Cherokee trail of tears was 1813-1855. The book that I read talked about Pastor Eleazar Williams, White Bird's last stand and Blackhawk. Some good stuff in that book I read. You have the small pox incident.

Wow. Somehow I landed here after seeing a video about Little Richard who was part Native American (Cherokee). I realize that my parents land in Tennessee where we lived in the 70-80's is/was right around where the "Ft. Morrow" camp would have been. When we cleaned out an area to plant an organic vegetable garden we found loads of arrow and spear heads from the "Indians" (as we called them back then) in the earth. I was very young and didn't know about this part of history. So sad for them!

What the Nazis did to the Jews the Settlers did to the Cherokee tribe. I read up on the American Indian Removals and the Settlers starved the Natives to the point to were they were panicking eating bark off of trees and they had to kill a horse to eat just to survive. Not to mention the small pocks blankets. I read the American Indian Removals by Gloria Jehoda. It is about the American Indian Removals of 1813 to 1855 with the Cherokee tribe.

The United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples is an imperative document. The United Nations Declarations on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples has 46 different articles under it. I definitely want to get a copy of it and study it up. It is important to know our rights as a Indigenous people. I know that in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights you have article 25 section 1 which is our right to claim a nationality and you also have the Universal Declaration of Human Rights article 15 section 2 which is, "Nobody shall arbitrary deprived their nationality or be denied the right to change their nationality. It is very important to know the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples is definitely very important for us to know. We also have the Universal Declaration of Human Rights article 18 which is our religious freedom and to practice different religions and beliefs as well as worship.

My Mother Ruby V. Jones was and always will be the Chief Of The Cherokee Nation that is a documented fact. As I stated before her life was taken from her and our family in a Fresno CA medical facility in 2012. One of The perpetrators took out and insurance policy on my mother using my name and social security # my info was given to him by the mother of one of my children. This perpetrator has his family living in homes that I own and that is why when I obtained his home # I called him several times and left my # on his answering machine being that I did not get a response from him I proceeded to tell his wife that she is living with a monster and that is why he is living with his daughter in another home that I own. This Person also in 2013 had my ex sister in law and mother inlaw call CPS on myself and the mother of my children after asking can they spend the night with their cousins saying that we abandoned our babies. Which was absolutely false . The attorneys for the CPS case and several of the CPS workers all were in on setting us and our babies up. I have been dealing with this since 2012 and because of Jesus Christ I have no complaints however it is now time for justice to prevail. I miss my babies their beautiful mother my lovely wife my other children i love you also you know who you are all three of my grandson's. And all my real friends and family God bless you all. Curtis N. Crawford III . Also known as Gary Lewis II. Born Faisal Saud IV.

With all due respect and no disrespect to anyone my Mother Ruby V. Jones from the time that she was born in Mobile Alabama until the time of her death was and still is the documented Chief Of The Cherokee Nation. I am her eldest son In 2012 while in care at a medical facility in Fresno CA my mother was sexually assaulted and her life was taken. this to is a documented fact on camera all though someone deliberately turned off the camera to my mother's room it was still captured. Although this is the first time that I have went public with this I have approached those responsible for the blatant disrespect of my Beautiful mother. I have also had an altercation with one of the perpetrators. He never denied it no woman or human being for that matter should ever have to suffer that way. My mother knew who she was she did not flaunt it she was not scared either and I am not scared either the reason for that is because just like my mother I also believe in our Lord and savior Jesus Christ as all mankind should. Ms. Ruby V. Jones will receive justice no matter what. Amen.

I am a descendant of the Cherokee indian nation. My great, great Grandparents died on the trail of tears. Their families were killed, property stolen, put in concentration camps ie reservations. Black people claim they have rights to equity or reparations. Cherokee were farms, gatherers and hunters. But the land they cared for was so fertile the intruders were willing to kill fir it. Where is the justice?

Somebody claims they have a great great grandmother who was part Cherokee and all of a sudden you have millions of little cherokee princesses and princes walking around.
