I was going thru my email and noticed that while I recieved the initial confirmation email to subscribing to your website there was nothing else and then sometime later noticed I had spam mail so I went thru it and saw that I had missed some emails due to it being labeled spam anyways I fixed the problem but thought you should know to inform other subscribers about this so they don't miss out..

Thanks for doing this type of project available to everyone. I have seen several saplings tightly bound together at the base so that they fuse to create a single interesting trunk. Recently I saw a Japanese black pine on eBay created in this way. Trident maples and Japanese maples are also good subjects for fused trunk bonsai.

Not so fast. Likely to be a graft, which means reoot can be a seedling. May not bloom true to the color you like,. Have fun any way.

Glad you like it Willy,. We can learn from everyone. Absorb, digest, spit out silly conventional wsdom, and think intellectually to apply what you absorbed. Right? Have fun!

I feel like i'd get anxious trying to bend a wired tree! I wouldn't want to break it! I do have some questions! My maple tree is about as big as your cherry blossoms in this video but It's only around 4 months old should I let it grow on it's own this year or can I start cutting off it's top branches? It's over a foot long at this point with a nice natrual upward curve.

No big diference...depding on whether you want more branching or thicker trunk...and the height of the ultimate bonsai
