Its simultaneously pathetic and hilarious that parents want to blame movies, tv, video games and everything else but themselves for the kids’ horrible actions

I literally had no idea this movie existed, and I was PLOWING my way through the horror section of my local rental store. I need to see this.

A remake of this movie would do well in these current times

I remember seeing Cherry Falls on TV at a young age and enjoying it. The way the killer looked always creeped me out. I recently rewatched this after so many years and was surprised at how much it held up. Not to mention Brittany Murphy being so good in it.

I went to the high school where part of this was filmed. It was super creepy when they replaced our Vikings with giant splashing cherries in our gym.

I have always Loved this movie!!! It is in my top 10 to this day. The irony bar has yet to be topped!!

I remember seeing this DVD as a horror combo pack with Terror Trct staring John Ritter. I thought it was interesting but I was also entertained event hough I got this for the other film.

I bought the Scream Factory blu ray as that is one of the few ways to see this movie. It's quite underrated, and a shame that it wasn't released to theaters in the USA.

I love the Joblo team and channels! Especically this one, it helps a newbie like me navigate the horror genre.

I read the original script for this movie about a year before it came out. I don’t remember it being that graphic at all. But yes, it was more satirical. Also, inexplicably, it was originally set in Ohio lol which makes way less sense to Virginia (George Washington/chopping down cherry tree; Cherry Falls/Virginity).

It's disappointing the amount they had to cut to lose the 'X' rating. Wish we could have gotten the original uncut version.

Scream Queen 👑 Well we finally did it! 😮What is that you say? Well we finally got around to making a big screen version of Cherry 🍒 Falls. Called Stage Fright 🎃 Now back up, let me explain. This is also an AHS movie as I made Elsa Mars (who owned The Freakshow the Drama Teacher at Westfield. Jimmy (That's Jimmy Darling) is my love interest but this plays out from 1975. Now this film 🎥 I got alotta inspiration from and one of the main ones is The Alter Film Shelly. Which went well with the part where Elsa blackmailed Penny who spent the night with Jimmy and Penny had been drugged. (And this all happened in 1975) when Jimmy was a Senior in highschool (this isn't public school by the way it's a Catholic school.) And the principal wanted the whole incident about how Jimmy spent the night with Loralie Sherman covered up so she told these highschool girls to do it for them. And over the years people forgot about it (until as things do in horror films it resurfaced. Now the reason this is called Stage Fright (not Cherry 🍒 Falls is because I remade a film Stage Fright (2000) based around the trailer (as I like 2 do) where we have this line, I don't know why you're trying to fit in with those Theater 🎭 kids, Those kids AREN'T normal! (And I was writing this around the same time that I finally got around to watching AHS Freakshow (which is how we got Elsa Mars, Jimmy, Maddy (that's Emma Roberts, and I added my other 2 best friends Haiden and Violet.....So you write all the plays 4 .... Not quite, Elsa wouldn't like anything I write, Well then what do ya do. "Costumes." Really? Yeah I actually get paid to make bitches like Madilyn Ashton look good. I'm one of the stage kids, do you know how much they hate us 😮maybe someone really Is trying to stop 🛑 you from putting on this play 😮but the show (Haunting of The Phantom) Must go on as the body count starts to drop ☔ and just as everyone's starting to celebrate 🥂🥳 the big night coming up..... Scuse me 😊Should we really be dancing and singing when somebody died? ..

Hi there. Out of curiosity, where are you getting the January 31, 2000 release date from? I’ve checked several sources, including IMDb, and the earliest release date (not counting the Cannes Film Festival premiere) is July 28, 2000 in Germany. Would like to know where you are getting that information from. Thanks.

Time for studios to sue the MPAA for lost income due to the massacre of the movies. They have no right to say anything about the movies being made. I hope they shut down the MPAA and let people make the movies in their unbuttfucked form

the german title for this was 'sex or die', this certainly didnt help a lot for the popularity of the film...it sounds cheap.

I enjoyed this movie a lot.. but I don’t understand the ending, I feel it didn’t fit with the tone the rest of the story that the main character chooses to stay silent about the truth

regardless, this movie is a hot mess. Maybe had they stuck to the script as written, maybe it could have been something... but in its current state its a terrible muddled slasher and not sure why he gets the love that it gets.

I don't remember this film's release, & i had no idea it existed, until i caught it on tv, many years back. This video gives a good explanation as to why. Annoyingly, entertainment is currently being targeted again, as the supposed cause of all these mass shootings! Luckily, this time, there doesn't seem to be any senate hearings, or such a strong panic going on, as there was back in 2000. Those of us who know better can just laugh our asses off at the fools trying to target entertainment again, lol!

The makeup contour everything even her wardrobe I love the shape of Jody's face and nose makeup is fun and alotta work I do it to myself.....GOD R.I.P BRITTANY!!!!! I'm putting this movie on my phone!!!!!! I love it who cares about the cheesy story line I loved Jody a lot!!!!!! And Brittany's acting also the one best character she looked and portrayed I take Jody over any other characters played by Brittany!!!!! She did so great this movie wouldn't be a film without Jody that chase scene is so chilling still

Blumhouse figured out the loophole. Just jam pack your movies with not at all subtle propaganda and you get a pass 😉

No matter how hard one tries this film is simply garbage. Be it for the MPAA, be it for its creators, it has just been a weak try for turning a quick buck. Soulless, useless, no real relevance and a really cheap copy of Scream [ 1996 ] without any of the genre's fun-N-games. Say, they had to remove scenes, trim violence and so and so... then why release it?! Give it a damn X rating and see if home-video people will like it. It's like somebody builds a house, trims the high-ceiling to normal, trims the bay-windows to sash ones, and on top of it all removes central heating, in exchange of a plug-in electric fan. Would ya pay for that house the full price?! Well, this film is released without any of its "promises" and still wants the full ticket. If the full price is given, then criticism should be too. I rewatched it recently and still find it utter garbage and nobody seems to dare saying it. The editing sucks, the cinematography is trash, the kills are off-screen and the acting is mediocre at best. The characters are shallow, the dialogues are childish and the whole production is stinking of cash-grab and serious misunderstanding of the genre. All in all, - as much as I like JoBlo, and horror as it is, we hafta agree to disagree on this one. It's a PG13 daytime TV thing, no horror here, really, nothing happens in the whole 90 minutes. An incoherent waste of time for anyone who like horror / thriller. [ By the way, I get the idea of liking the main chick, but her character is crap too, and beside her looks, there is not much going for her either - she doesn't make it a good film. Tragic loss of an actress / singer but the film is not better because of her demise... maybe it's another marketing stunt that the sales got higher after her passing; nothing is off the table in the film business, right? ]
