I'm new to mechanical keeb and hasn't own one yet. This video came out just in time for me with all the knowledge. Very informative and educational and yet not overwhelming. I appreciate it a lot! Thank you Shane and MOBHouse crew for the effort in this video!

I'm glad you did the sound tests. For me, the MX 10.0 is the hands-down winner. I've been looking for this kind of review because I'm used to scissor switches, and I'm not warming up to my new keyboard that sounds like a typewriter.

Great Review and good overview of Cherrys Portfolio, thanks! But with regards to the MX 10.0: if they just shortened the Keycaps in heigh, as you say... then the remaing base of the keycap would be wider, making the keys look "congested", yes. BUT it twould also mean the Keycap grid is exactly the same as with non slims, right? It "looks crammed", but actually gives more surface for the fingers to hit the keys AND keeps the normal Keygrid! This is ingenious... I consider it a feature, not a bug! ;-)

Actually, I disagree because it makes it very easy to accidentally mistype. in contrary, a keycap like the one on my Logitech G913 is quite a bit better in a similar layout. However, I must say that I do prefer the switches and keycap quality on the Cherry. So i ended up keeping one of each ahahaha

@@MOBHouse Agreed. Although the keycaps are full-sized, I find myself pressing 2 keys at once quite often (featherweight activation for the switches doesn't help either). Maybe it's a matter of getting used to it, but so far I mistype a lot more often than on my standard workplace keyboard. Build quality is great though.

Whats the difference between CHERRY G80-3000S & 3000N? Also I can only find it with Silent Red switches, no Red, Blue or Brown

are the keycaps doubleshot on the G80-3000S?

G80-3000 S have ABS case which is much worse than PC case you said it have and there is difference with NBL one, it's not only RGB, it got south facing switches, while most of RGB ones unless they are "side RGB" black versions have it north facing which may cause interference with some keycaps

As a guy who live in Taiwan, i saw a lot of cherry keyboard on shelf. But, no1 actually bother to buy them. It doesn’t feel the same as other mainstream brand.

Yea... to be honest, they don't have a lot of shelf appeal vs the mainstream brands. TBH, I really wished that they would change up the font to something cleaner and go for the hybrid gamer/enthusiast market instead.
