Oh this was kind of brutal for the cost. Thank you Cherry for saving me money as I definitely won't be buying it this year. I was excited with the initial socks and Hufflepuff cup pin, I thought we might be getting all the founder items. It went downhill like a slide though lol.

You can really tell the difference between the 'slap a wand on it' corporate products and the hand-crafted with love by fans products in the subscription boxes

The official stuff is never as good as the unofficial boxes!

I can’t say it enough…I’m so thankful for how honest you are on all of your videos. I thought about buying this calendar but was concerned it would be…less than deluxe. The main draw to buying it is possibly winning the broom. Considering I’m not very lucky at winning things though…I’d just be left with this average box of stuff

It's amazing how even though I wasn't too thrilled with this advent calendar my daughter who is 6 was in Awe the whole video she absolutely loved it! It just goes to show how the smallest everyday items can thrill a 6 year old 😄

I agree. It should be an average of about $3 per item. The pen, bottle opener, stickers, wood ornaments, and spectre specs were maybe $1.50 a piece so they definitely don’t add up to $75

I think you hit the nail on the head with maybe this is a hit for kiddos. I’m also an adult potter fan and this was a big miss for me. Haven’t been a fan of the majority of HP themed advent calendars for the past two years but my nieces (10 & 11) LOVE them.

I keep telling myself it's too early for Christmas content but as soon as you started posting advent calendar reviews I lightning clicked to watch.

Absolutely floored by how much this box was… some hits but damn dude. So far I have yet to see an HP advent calendar I actually want…

For the price of that calendar ($75 USD) I expected so much more from it. Seems like they tried to give the cheapest items as possible

I like that the calendar is reusable, the art on each of the boxes is so cute. My favorite items from this are the socks, gloves, cloth(it can be used to clean phones and computer screens),note pad, house cloth, and Luna's glasses. There is also a chance that in these boxes you could find a ticket for a free Firebolt replica! That being said I agree that this is a lot of money and the items aren't worth the price. I liked enough of the items that I would be happy if I got this as a gift or something but wouldn't go out of the way to buy it my self.

I was really interested in this box and looked for spoiler because it’s expensive. Glad you put your video out because I will NOT bother with this.

Considering how nice the LookFantastic and Boots Advent Calendar were, I feel like this one (for the price) isn’t as worth it and useful as the other ones😬 I would’ve expected something nicer for both the price and the “deluxe” label it had. Still the video was fun to watch thanks to the Christmasy vibes🎄✨

I think my favorite item is the lens wipe. That seems like the most useful item to me (a glasses wearer).

I believe the cookie cuter has the little face so you can stamp Harry's face onto the cookie. I had one of those with Frosty the Snowman and I quite liked it.

I think you were pretty kind honestly for what was in there. I am disappointed considering how nice most of the Cinereplicas products can be! Thank you, Cherry for doing these videos and being honest. And even if the items were a miss, it's always nice watching you!

Suggestion for the random fabric, you could get one of those beeswax wrap kits and use it to make wraps for food storage and lunches

Peter just unboxed the regular box and there are a few repeats in the deluxe which is very disappointing because if it's a DELUXE box then it should have all different items. As far as being "deluxe" I'm not so sure about that lol.

I’ve seen a fantastic one from UGEARS. It’s wooden figures that are automatons with cogs that move. The figures range from Ron, Harry and Hermione to the Night Bus. You make each one per day and some can be hung on a tree.

I agree, even without the shipping the cost is too much for the items. It feels like they didn't put a lot of effort into making the products high quality or Harry Potter themed. I had a a cute leggo Harry Potter calander last year from a different company and they put so much thought into it. They even made sure to have the wrong spelling on Harry's birthday cake like Hagrid had done. Putting the details in makes it feel more magical.

i love the balloon so much, i wish i could get it separately, because you're right, 75 dollars is just too much, 50 is more like it, but still a lot. the only deluxe thing about it is that it contains more than one pair of socks, other than that it's VERY similar to its basic edition

I feel like this is perfect for a younger audience that likes Harry Potter or for someone who is just getting into Harry Potter. There were things I liked/didn't like (kind of like you) but over all it was fun to watch and open up with you!

This reminds me of the $825 Chanel advent calendar from a couple years ago.. it was sooo bad. There were an overwhelming amount of cheap chanel stickers and a piece of black thread they tried to pass as a braclet lol. Tragic

I use lens cloths mainly for my mobile and tablet. Also for my computer monitor!

I find that the only Wizarding World related advent calendar that's worth it is the Lego one, which I buy every year and I can use the previous year's items as little decorations around the house either just at Christmas or all year round

A lot of the stuff is giving 1 time use tester packages in a luxury skincare advent calendar vibes, though you can use the lens cloth to clean phone/tablet screens if you're not a glasses wearer, that's what I use my spare ones for.

You should definitely open the other one as well and compare them to see if the deluxe calendar is worth spending more

The thing in no. 13 is a little cloth to put on a side table like the little ones you have next to your sofa to stop it getting scratched ❤❤

I have to agree with you. This is not a deluxe type box. They did well on a few items but fell short on others. I love the white owl. My brother and I will hear a couple of them hooting in the evening and get a little excited to see them. Enjoy your week.

I think this is a box that younger people-preteens and kids are going to love and adults are going to be left wanting more. I would be unhappy if I spent what you did. That said, i think they have improved from what they had last year and will hopefully keep learning and improving for those who still want them.

You can use that cloth for any screen, telephone...you will get use out of it.

The glasses wipe, paper glasses, bag, balloon, pen and keyring are all in the standard version. Won't be buying either 🤣

I did see an opening of the standard calendar and there are some duplicates. Some people will be disappointed if they get both. The deluxe one is definitely the better option. 🌟

Box 13 item could be used as an ascot or you can wrap it around your wrist or use it as a pocket handkerchief in a jacket pocket.

The lens cloth could be used for phone screens too ☺️ I saw the standard box opened on another channel and it looks the deluxe is an small upgrade but must admit… kind of very random mix of stuff I probably wouldnt use the majority of and definitely not worth the $95 you spent on it.

I agree the nimbus 2000 tree hanger does look unfinished especially for what you’re paying for the calendar but the beauty of it is you could jazz it up in anyway possible. Also yes - I’m commenting as I watch the video otherwise I’d forget my thoughts 🤣

Aside from the bottle opener I think this box is more suited for kids than adults. Especially with all the chibi stuff and that handkerchief you pulled out looks like it’s a kid sized bandana

The cookie cutter isn't to eject it, it is to imprint Harry's face on. You press the cutter through the dough and then push down the plunger until you feel resistance, but not hard enough to punch all the through the dough. I would personally use that for items that don't need to be baked. His face will probably distort when baked. Try it out and let us know how it goes.

Going through all your Advent Calendar videos! Really loving it! I'll say this about this Calendar: it's the first I've seen that was gender neutral. When you opened the "necklace" I was all, "Ah! They spoiled it!".. but with the snitch being on it's own clasp, you would have a charm for a zipper pull or somesuch, and a plain gold chain - which is neutral. Score! I've just found SO MANY of these Harry Potter Advents are really leaning conventionally "feminine" with hair scrunchies, earrings, necklaces, etc.. I keep feeling someone who gravitates to conventionally male things would be disappointed day after day. This was solidly neutral socks, badges, cloths, etc. Well done on that front, even if they weren't all Deluxe.

As a former Creative Director and Region Marketing Coordinator- all those items are soOo cheap. I've ordered countless versions from cheap marketing promo item companies. The only deluxe items were the socks, but everything else was cheap filler. I've put a lot of those items in little promo gift bags, welcome bags and thank you bags.

The red "cookie" cutter seems more like what you'd give to a child to cut out shapes when they play with playdough. At least to me, as it's something I would've probably given a child to play with when I was teaching. The whole box feels like they tried to appeal to all ages and missed the mark all together, in my opinion.

Compared to the regular Advent calendar, this was "deluxe". It did a little disappointing for the price. It did start off with a bang, then burned out. FYI: Cinereplica does do HP erasers (like the one in the kit).
